I had heard he was bashing TERN...and it is (superficially) an easy target: AS is not making the fairly obvious moves to increase sharply value and confidence

if AS were to be elbowed aside in favour of someone with VC savvy, we'd be cooking on rocket fuel imv

Tern is an o/s prospect for 2021 imv...even with the threat of further dilution...because its pf contains extraordinary "hidden" value that even AS cannot hide much longer (cos any number of different third party valuation events beckon)

yep, AS needs to show some deal/VC savvy

one approach would be sound out West Coast's appetite for some of Tern's DA (as part of upround or pre IPO financing)...this might get AL to do the obvious (and play the lead role that they should be doing anyhow!) Some potential competition would perhaps help AS/Tern not be low balled too much by AL in the poker game of valuation

I have in mind a deal (liquidity or value confirmation) not the underlying business performance

some business momentum (but show us the cash, Al)

g.rease is a decent "counter-indicator"...when s(he) pops up, the sp perks up

that is the obvious risk here: VC plays need the capacity for follow on investment (or cut and run)

AL are deep pocketed but it is difficult for AL and Tern/AS (and management) to agree valuation, I guess...

I accept that if AL really really loved DA they probably could offer such a sweet deal to Tern that it would be difficult to terned down...probably a neat solution would be Tern selling a small % to AL for a few million bucks...let's see
