Whilst i agree that often AIM is corrupt and the MM's are to blame, today has just been about supply and demand. Many of the 'blue buys' at around .49 were actually sells. They showed as buys because the bid was dropped to .47 when the real bid was .49. There haven't been many buys at all today unfortunately.

You can't just buy and sell massive amounts of shares in an AIM company instantly. It takes time to process the order. So the trade time is irrelevant as are the trades around it. There was nothing but buying pressure today and no tick up. Why? Because they were filling the large sell orders.

2 huge sells they have been processing throughout the day which explains why the incessant buying hardly moved the sp upwards. I think we now have the answer to Solo and Gun strategy here.

But UKOG didn't have the cash to pay Solo and Gun so they offered shares instead. New shares! So in effect it was a placing. Solo and Gun have millions of shares to offload when the see fit. So not dissimilar to Bergen and Angs in reality.

Huh? The Bergen overhang doesn't apply here? Clever how you side stepped the Gun and Solo overhang. Is it not similar?

And it would be without Bergen. The first RNS today was a bad one. They still have 35m shares to offload which it seems they only sell at 9p or above. So for now that is the ceiling until they are out. Then it will move north quickly.

No the bad news as always is Bergen! Still have millions to offload. Any rise will be therefore be short and sweet.

The 8m sell triggered the drop in the sp. It was followed by a number of other large sells which dropped the sp further. Then the buyers came in big time and the sp rose again and now stable. Difficult to know who and why regarding the 8m sell. Will it happen again or is it a one off?

So many shares in issue, so many holders.

Someone is offloading big time. Why? Could it be Solo or/and Gun ditching?

At last. Closing bid was really 2.122 and ask 2.135 so better than reported. For the third time this afternoon they reduced the bid to 2.05 for no apparent reason. The games they play.

Forward selling of the warrant shares? Certainly been a lot of large sells over the last few days. Spikes on AIM shares are rarely held but slow daily rises are so let's wait and see what happens what happens when the good news is properly digested.

But why so many large sells when the bid ticks up to 2.45? Could it possibly be Solo selling their shares?

Nobody knows if Bergen are even selling let alone how many they may have left. It's curious to me that last week MATD reversed it's sell off and regained over 20% in value on the back of zero news. Aim is unfathomable.

People have started doing just that! A flood of buys in the last few minutes including one for 400k of shares and two for 100k or more of shares. Something afoot, has the tide turned?

I think so too. Have a feeling Bergen are at last finished and a TR1 RNS plus operations news will see a quick move north IMHO.

I hope you are right but then we have been waiting for the bounce when it hit 10, then 9, then 8, and now 7. Also the large seller(Bergen ?) is dumping shares in 300k blocks this morning which is not a good sign. How many do they have left is the key.

Kenni the number of shares bought and sold figures are not accurate and not worth analysing.

So many people blame MM games and conspiracies when the sp doesn't do what they wish and hope. The sp hasn't risen yet because there are still many sellers as well as buyers. The large sells have dried up for now at least but looks like PI's are selling for some reason.

It will rise if and when there are more shares bought than sold. Simples.
