A great RNS and drilling news imminent but a flurry of big sells today. Most probably the 14p placing shares being offloaded for smallish profit. Probably good to get them out the way before the drilling announcement.

Never heard of forward selling of placement shares? Anyway some LTH's here have made a fortune here, sold and disappeared and good luck to them. AIM is mostly hoping to find a wave to ride and knowing when to get off. The smart ones have jumped off and swum to shore.

Your question should be 'How did it go from 2p to 9.5p in a few days without any good news?' Pure hype particularly the HNWI share placement who has made huge profits, sold and gone away.

They have to release sp sensitive information by law. The demerger is not a definite so i don't see how they could possibly withhold testing results. Not sure why they would even want to do that.

Some of the big trades are simply ISA transfers. The others are unfathomable as to whether they are sells or buys. As the sp is not moving much either way then probably a mixture of both.

Thanks Quadrum. Yes a lot has changed here since i last came this way except the sp lol. If my memory serves me correct then the sp was around 12p all those years ago. I'm back in IRR as well and that is another slow burner. But i like the fundamentals here and there and can see a rerate coming for both.

Not been in Mafl for years but bought in today. It was always undervalued it seems. Anyway the prospects look good going forward. All my AIM shares have or have had an annoying seller at some point. What is suspect about it? Deliberately keeping the sp down for what reason? Normally they clear eventually and the sp rises nicely.

Some very large trades the last few days, so difficult to know if they are sells or buys as they are all around the 19p level. This was always a strange share to apply logic to on a daily trading basis. All i know is when it rises it rockets!

The sell off after the rise was disappointing but not surprising as there have been a lot of big sells in recent days. Probably the placement shares being offloaded. Despite the warrants carrot to keep them in sticky hands the sad fact of life is institutions that get placement shares nearly always dump plenty of them for a quick profit.

This happened with the placing shares at 10p last December which held the sp down for a while but they eventually cleared and the sp moved higher. This will repeat itself this time also.

11:31 am on a Friday is an unusual time to release such a positive RNS which makes me think there is a better one coming early next week for a bigger impact.

On the contrary, hopes are high coz Ibiza reckoned meeting today delivering the EL and RNS Monday giving us the news! No pressure Ibiza lol.

Seems to me that Vince has decided, not surprisingly, that the gold prospects are merely a sideshow to the lithium. The lithium project is further along and is i assume creating more of an interest to 3rd parties.

The perfect scenario would be to sell the gold prospects and use the money to speed up proving the lithium mine . Problem is nobody is interested in buying gold exploration fields in dodgy countries.

Hence the demerge. IRR currently trading around 18p. What do you think guys? 16p for the lithium and 2p for the NewGoldCo?

Indeed strange time to sell. I'm beginning to believe in Ibiza's theory of the meeting to issue the EL this Friday followed by the announcement in an RNS the following Monday.

The good news is the big 400k sell has been absorbed and the bid has risen, albeit not officially, to over 7.9.

My 150k share purchase hasn't shown up yet. Hopefully got in at a bargain price despite the civil unrest lol. Are they drilling in the centre of Bogota?
