GoldStone Resources Limited (AIM: GRL), is pleased to announce that the Ghanaian Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources has approved the Company's permit application to export, sell or dispose of the gold produced from its mining operation on the Homase Mine in the Ashanti Gold Belt, Ghana (the "Licence"). The Licence is valid for one year, in line with the Minerals and Mining Act, 2006 (Act 703) and the Minerals and Mining (General) Regulations, 2012 (L.I. 2173).



The Licence allows the Company to manage the export of gold in a timely manner with the offtake partner, in respect of the payments announced on the 30 November 2021.



In line with the Government of Ghana's policy on development of the downstream minerals sector, the Company may be requested to sell an agreed portion of gold produced to local refineries at internationally competitive prices.

Only thing I can think of is that it was never really in doubt that gold would be produced. Or buyers are waiting for confirmation that the loan is paid. After all, the environmental permit took a lot longer than expected (remember the posts predicting 20p on environmental permit grant?)

Thanks for the drop, I sold half at 5.5p on the way up in June, thus missing out on the rise to 9p. Now managed to buy back everything I sold at 4p. Hopefully price settles around here or higher, until the next good news

Not a fair comparison

OMI, UFO, ALBA, NCYT, ABDX have all had poor news over the past year

EUA, ODX, AVCT, GDR have supposedly good products but can't sell them

On the other hand, GGP has only had good news released on a regular schedule over the same period, with each RNS being better than the previous one (except for the placing, which is neutral at best)

Anyone who holds on a certain date will get it, then the price will drop by the amount of the dividend the next day.

If someone's loading up at 166 then people must be selling too, or we would see a slow rise the whole day (like when Polygon was adding in early September). MMs don't want to hold lots of shares for a week let alone several weeks

People who bought at 130 very recently might want to cash out some at 165. Since the placing we have gone below 100 twice and low 140s quite often. I wanted to sell some at the 180 spike but I missed it by a few seconds. Also missed the 120 dip by a few seconds :(
