Did you (or anyone else here) know the full details of funding etc. etc. before you chose to put you're hard earned into this share?
I would venture no!
It's the potential and the steady progression of steps in the right direction to bring the project to fruition.
This project is developing slowly but surely, and this backing from Ganfeng and subsequent approval by the Chinese authorities is a major, major step forward.
Positivity is the name of the game. We have enough endless negative questioning of all manner of things (Brexit especially - please that's not an invitation to open that particular subject).
I really think we should stop expecting to run before we can walk, accept that a company as young as Bacanora is trying to develop a world class project and it's going to take time, be completed in stages and will have the inevitable few stumbles on the way.
We are not going to find out ALL the details at once and should really stop expecting this.
Be positive, stay positive, this project is going to come good!

Looking at the timings of announcements on sedar, they mostly seem to appear about 3pm ET.
If filed say today at 3pm ET, we wouldn't see that till approx 7pm earliest. That would be my understanding tomcat.

They are 6 hrs or so behind us, so if filed on a Saturday in Canada, we wouldn't see it till Sunday .

He's not holding a short position.
Dougal is doing his best to sow seeds of doubt, that much is obvious. He's after those who maybe have made a bit of profit and wondering whether to take it, those with a little bit of doubt, and he's hoping to get his hands on as many little tranches of shares he possibly can at the lowest price he can. He's actually trying to build a holding, (possibly realising he's a bit late to the party?)
Tell us Dougal which share have you EVER known go up in a straight line?
This beauty is biding time for the next important announcement, and of course will drift a bit in the meantime, and in the meantime Dougal mate, if you're not a holder, do us all a favour and do one!

How many times do we see on bb's people questioning the price movemnts of shares, especially AIM. I am starting to truly question ordinary supply/demand theory on share price .
I think what happened last few days is down to shenanigans of MM's. They have shares on their books and the price they mark at is to do with their 'perceived' risk of holding those shares.
When the Ganfeng news hit there was the expected rise, and LTH's felt relieved, at last a good rise. This attracted the army of day traders and momentum built rapidly until we hit 50p. Probably quite a few LTH's took their profits, or at least some of their profits, and the day traders sold out happy with the rise. A lot were probably looking to repeat the exercise next day.
The MM are sitting on a fair number of shares, as per Derbyone post, and perceiving an increased risk of holding the shares held the price steady to guage reaction. The day traders seeing the price stall didn't jump in next day, the last of them probably then sold as momentum had stopped and the MM are now very very steadily droppping the price to see exactly where they they can price at without triggering another super-rise.
That's my take fellow LTH's -(probably a load of garbage but who the heck knows).
And so the constant confusion continues!

Researcher1 - you could also consider copper play. EV's need a lot of copper also, and much easier to access than cobalt. A bit overlooked IMHO

You could take a look at Umicore- A Belgian company. Baillie Gifford Positive Change have a 4% holding. Share price dropped over last year, so not too expensive entry point. Priced in Euros so FX to take into account what with brexit etc.

Puts a bit of perspective on lithium supply at current time. I also own some Albemarle and SQM (SQM for quite a long time when potash was the 'thing'), and I must admit to not having done very well with shares in either! However should come good in next 3-5 years hopefully when demand starts to match/overtake supply.
As far as BCN goes I do wonder. The price should, as we all expect, lift off when funding is sorted/announced, and whether I'll personally be able to resist taking profits (if and when that happens) I'm not sure.
