I can confirm receipt of letter from the director of the Market Oversight Division herself , and just for clarity RE: THE INVESTIGATION she stated -

"On 27 June 2025, Wood announced that the company has been notified by the FCA of the commencement of an investigation covering the period from 1 January 2023 to 7 November 2024. We subsequently confirmed this announcement"

At no time did I say anything other than interesting , but in view of everything and in view of their previous interest in acquiring Wood Group I felt , unlike yourself until laterly , it was pretty pertinent, as you so obviously agree, (laterly), but failed to appreciate any sort of significance it might have, however likely or unlikely a second bid might turn out to be.

Just checked back on JO posts from 4th Nov and can’t find any mention from JO of the Apollo pull-out being reported by JO. Fact, I can’t find any mention from JO of this at all.
