Shorting companies in total control of share price, as they have been all along as per, and it looks like they have 28p set as the price they aren't going to allow it to rise above. Only thing that could possible upset their apple cart is another bidder entering fray, but I think most of us agree that is looking unlikely.

Hope I'm wrong on that 'cos I would luv to see 'em screwed but that happens very very seldom.

Price not a prediction btw, 'cos I will openly admit I haven't got a clue as to what is 'really' going on here.

However, I am minded to hold onto shares for long term. Don't need the money for living costs so I think I will wait and see.

If anyone is under the illusion that PI's /Posters downplaying shares/shorting shares discussed on BB's has any effect WHATSOEVER on the share price of a company then they're living in cloud cuckoo land!

All it does is generate tit for tat 'cat fights' with no meaning at all other than a SLIGHT bit of diversion from the GUESSING game (or In JO's land - predictions), of what is going to happen to WG share price.

On that, NOBODY has a clue.

@James- you're clearly still' about', I'd be really interested in what you think of this mysterious 4mill trade. I mean, the stock market and a lot of it's, shall we say 'professional' traders, are as bent as a five pound note.

Is it stretching the realms of possibilty that the trade was indeed pukka gen - dark pool and all that - or am I getting carried away into cloud cuckoo land? (if not already a long term resident!)
