Ryan Mee, CEO of Fulcrum Metals, reviews FY23 and progress on the Gold Tailings Hub in Canada. Watch the video here.
Hello Nicubias. As Jo’s farewell event is open to all, it’s possible that Messrs Kearney and Varma might attend. Who knows, even Mr Black could turn up?
As 2024 has arrived, may I again wish all genuine AYM shareholders a very prosperous year.
John
Amidst the general jubilation at the news that Jo has agreed to become a non-exec director of AYM, just a reminder that the ceremony to mark his departure as CEO is still going ahead.
Outline programme is:
Gather at drilling site on Parys Mountain.
Opening remarks by sharehuzzarski.
Long but uplifting speech by Brentharg.
Exactly the same speech repeated by Bubble.
Traditional floral dance by local virgins: presentation of ceremonial bucket to Jo.
(After press photos, interviews etc)…
Adjourn to the Dinorben Arms for a true Amlwch knees-up.
Full details are available.
Seriously though folks, I wish all genuine AYM shareholders a very happy Christmas and a prosperous (yes, very prosperous!) 2024.
John
A quiz to brighten (?) your day:
Which is the more depressing: (a) Brentharg’s interminable feuding, or (b) AYM’s interminable lack of progress?
(Clue: both are acutely painful but one has financial implications).
A prize may be available for the nearest correct answer…
As ever, best wishes to all genuine AYM investors.
John
Gordon, I’ve yet to filter anyone (although the temptation is sometimes there, I admit!). This chatroom , in common with most, has had its share of irritating contributors over the years but they eventually move off to irritate elsewhere.
Having said that, I do agree that between them, Brentharg and Bubble2021 have made a dog’s dinner of this chatroom at the moment.
Here’s hoping that we get some positive AYM news very soon. That’s the antidote to all this dog’s-dinnering!
Rod McIllree’s involvement with Anglesey Mining, along with Johnathan Hufford’s recent, substantial share purchase, is certainly news and I’d appreciate hearing other shareholders’ views on the implications for AYM. They both have interesting track records.
(It would make a refreshing change from reading about Brentharg’s incessant feuding and Bubble2021’s interminable ramping!)
As ever, good luck to all genuine AYM investors.
John
There seems to be renewed interest in AYM (either “actual mining at Parys comes a step closer” or “yet more holes: will the test drilling ever end?”… take your pick). Either way, it’s timely to renew the warning to potential investors that (in common with other bulletin boards) this AYM chat board has its pitfalls.
On the one hand there are experienced investors (eg EarlofAim and sharehuzzarski) whose opinions are worth considering. You can usually identify experienced investors by the efforts made by “The Blob” (see below) to “cancel” them.
Then there are those (eg Southwesterner) who claim authoritative knowledge of mining matters (on close examination, usually a highly suspect claim).
Finally there’s the rest of The Blob, a miscellany of rampers, scaremongers and trolls (eg Brentharg and his/her followers Divermike and honestbob)….best treat their words with caution.
Having said all that, good luck to all genuine AYM investors.
John
Season's greetings to all long-suffering AYM investors.
While we await signs of real progress at Parys (30 years and counting)..... is it coincidence that one never sees Brentharg and the Duke of Sussex in the same place at the same time??
Best wishes to all genuine AYM shareholders: let 2023 be the year when good things start to happen.
John
Tommy.. you sure called this one right.
Your wise words recently are much appreciated: a welcome dose of realism in this chatroom.
Best wishes to all AYM’s long-suffering (genuine) shareholders. Too soon to be sure, but hopefully this is the start of real progress in realizing the value of our asset.
John
With the AYM share price in the doldrums and nobody able to predict what the future will bring, it’s worth repeating the warning that this Bulletin Board, like many others, has its share of shady elements.
It’s not always easy to identify these: rampers can go to great lengths to seem reasonable while dump-and-pumpers often put up a barrage of (apparently authoritative) technical speak. Trolls are usually easier to spot: they use verbal weapons such as sarcasm to drive their targets off the Bulletin Board.
AYM has, as we know, its rampers (eg honestbob), dump-and-pumpers (Southwesterner) and trolls (Brentharg) and newer investors should be wary of their apparently plausible advice.
Very best wishes to all genuine AYM investors.

Season's greetings to all AYM investors.
Ii's excellent news that Boris Johnson has secured a good trade-deal with the EU (against all the odds)... also very encouraging news that the Government is being so proactive in rolling out a vaccination programme which will hopefully enable us to counter the terrible effects of Covid. Let's hope that positive news from AYM gives us a third reason for optimism in 2021.
Worth adding a word of caution that this chatroom, like many others, has its share of dump-and-pumpers (Southwesterner), trolls (Brentharg) and rampers (Boom123), so it's wise to be careful in reading (or acting on) their pronouncements.
Very best wishes to all genuine AYM shareholders.
John
With the share price showing movement, it’s worth repeating the warning that shady elements are commonly found on Bulletin Boards.
AYM has, as we know, its rampers (eg Boom 123), dump-and-pumpers (Southwesterner) and trolls (Brentharg) and they can provide entertainment…. but newer investors should not be aware of their plausible advice.
Best wishes to all genuine investors.
John
Good post, Plface.
I think there could be a typo and you meant 18.8p? (188p in a few years though, perhaps!)
Good to see your comments providing some counterpoint to the usual ridiculous statements by Brentharg, Southwesterner and a few others…. Keep posting.
John
Fortunately, most people are aware that bulletin boards have their shady side. AYM used to be relatively free of such but inevitably has accumulated its rampers (Boom123), trolls (Brentharg) and pump-and-dumpers (Southwesterner). Entertaining to see them turn on each other over the last few days.
The worry is of course that some less wary investors may be taken in: the rampers/trolls/p&ds can be vey plausible.
Good luck to all genuine investors.
John
