Hi Guys. I am sorry if this has been asked a million times or if its common info but I dont follow this chat every day. My question is: Do we have a date yet for receiving the 90p ?

Ok i have dipped my toe in and bought a few more, have an average of £1.10 so with the 90p hopefully coming soon it gets me most of my money back to invest somewhere else

Sorry, I am just been negative. it seems to be the way it goes after consolidations (for me anyway)

So 17th Dec is like an Ex divi day ? if this price stays at 98p till 17th Dec then on the open of trade on the 18th it will be 8p ? right ?

I have just received a letter from my HSBC investdirect account. It states that I will get 90p per share subject to shareholder approval on 26th Nov. Will people buying today at 98p also get this 90p ?

is it really remaining loyal ? or not wanting to sell at a huge loss ?

Can the date for who is eligible for the 90p be back dated ? or will it need to be a future date after the Nov 11th announcement

Why the hell is this in the 90's with 90p coming back to shareholders this year ? its hard to understand

I do have a small holding of these shares but I have not been following the chat for some months now. Just came back to it now when I noticed the news about the 90p payout. My question is why is the price only at 100p with a further 10p coming next year ? I have 115p in my shares so it is almost all of my money back and I get to keep the shares.

Yes that was ok for my IG bets. My real shares stand me at an average of £26.13 so I'm looking at £ 28+ on them. See what happens Thursday

My bad luck just gets worse. I had some money on Rio from yesterday which i set to sell at 2600. I stayed in bed till late as I have jet lag and didnt sleep since Monday, 80hrs with no sleep. Anyway I got up at 1pm to see that the price opened and shot up to 2599.4 and then came down to where we are now, hows that for bad luck.

ill keep buying a few more because if I don't ill regret its when back in its usual £28 to £32 range. Does it 3 times a year.

Ive had a letter about this from HSBC who hold my shares. it says: (ive shortened it) subject to shareholder approval at GM 6th May shareholders at close of business on 19th May will be alloted new shares in South32 at a rate yet to be announced. Last day for BHP plc shares to trade on LSE is 15th May and expected day of commencement of trading of South32 on LSE is 26th may
