excellent thanks for advising Jay
So are the Company likely to leave the FPSO in Dubai until FOIL minus 6 weeks or more likely to let her leave Dubai when she is ready and then hold somewhere closer to the field until all other items are in place?
Thank you Jay Kay for a simple response to my somewhat stupid question.
I see there is lots of shipwatching etc, how will we get any clues on the actual FOIL date. I assume FOIL will be announced in an RNS but will there be bulletin or shipwatching indication that suggests an absolute 'this is now happening guys' indication from anywhere outside the Company.
Apologies for the vague question
Hi All,
Can I ask what the dates in the sweepstake are for?
and it took me about 15 years to get rid of this awful selling due to inpatience habit
Have to agree with what most others say. Of course it is frustrating that the SP is drifting down and this usually seems to be when there is little or no news.
Whilst I am only a small time PI, one of the lessons I have tried to correct is being impatient and selling when the price is drifting down. If you can be patient, surely you will be rewarded. I know that being patient can be difficult but selling and then seeing the price rise quickly and soonafter leaves me just kicking myself.
I am on Echo Energy and bought at about 12, they went to 10 and I avoided the temptation to sell. Now they are at circa 17p and I would be kicking myself now if I had got out on a 2p loss
thanks WT appreciated
Does anyone have a link to the update please
football is coming home though, its definately coming home
Yes I really do think so. I really do. OK the car has alot to do with it (as with all the drivers) but he is now 4 times World Champion and I stand by what I said
The football is a close one Taffy, but the F1 on the other hand all depends on whether Mercedes get it together. If they do then Lewis Hamilton is unbeatable. He is easily the finest driver of his generation and arguably one of the greatest F1 racers of all time.
Jesus guys wouldn’t that be fabulous. I can’t see England winning the World Cup but if they don’t then we have Lewis Hamilton to cheer for. Arguably one of the finest racers of his generation
Mate, I like your question about the price monitoring extension and your response to the response kindly given by stix40. I believe you and I could have a Stella or two where I believe we would both agree we understand sweet FA about what the guys on here are talking about!!!!! To me, they might as well be speaking Japanese!!!!!!
I am sure I could claim I was worth 180M too if I wanted to
With a bit of research people can make out that they are anyone online. I’m sure I could make out that I am David Beckham if I wanted to.
Thanks newtofo, surely POQ would want to obtain more information on the Licence policy before he strikes any sort of deal(s) in Houston, or am I missing the point?
All, So we have the origin presentation at the end of June which will hopefully include more details on the schedule going fowaard. Are details going to be released before this do we think or will the presentation be the methodology for such announcements I'm also keen to know of any predicted movements on the run up to 27 June. Cheers
All my stocks are drifting down over the past few days so FOG also doing the same isn't surprising.
Friends, Firstly, thanks for some very comprehensive and thoughtful responses from very helpful people. I am a member of other forums which certainly aren't so friendly! Anyway, thanks for your help which I greatly appreciate. I suppose what everyone is saying is that it boils down to a personal decision based on perhaps ones appetite for risk, what they can afford to loose and also how much they trust experts. More recently, I have managed to sort of condition out of my mindset is the tendency to panic in situations such as brexit. When it was announced I had an unrealised loss of about 40% for around a day which slowly credpt back up to then level off at around 60% on my pre-breit announcement. I have also had some good shares of late which have doubled and I have then instantly sold 50% thereby meaning I can never really loose
Hi All, A stupid question perhaps. I read this board every day and I feel good about what people are saying about Falcon. But I am a bit of an amateur and therefore have to gauge my view on how many shares I buy and when and also what percentage of my portfoilio is allocated to Falcon. Some people may say that you should have a real expert view of the industry / share you are investing but I am sure many users here could agree they are not experts. Currently around 8% of my portfoilio is allocated to Falcon. I would be interested to know what others think the maximum percentage to be. Surely there is a rule of thumb when purchasing shares that no one share should make more than x percentage of your portfoilio no matter how confident you feel of its sucess. The reason I ask is I am prepared to take a long term view and am considering purchasing more Falcon. I did on a previous share (Xcite Energy) purchase a percentage of around 20% and lost about 15K which whilst it didnt change my life, hurt a bit. I'd appreciate thoughts please.
