The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
What I can tell you Johnpwh, is he will match Schumacher's record of that I have no doubt.
"Just got the best Car" Thats complete toilet. No doubt that Mercedes have a great car, but he has comfortably got the better of Bottas who I'm sure has an identical car.
What you are saying implies that given the chance, my Mum could drive Hamilton's Mercedes as well as Hamilton
Since it's the weekend I just have to say good luck to Lewis Hamilton at Silverstone. This guy is arguably one of the finest racing drivers of all time
absolutely and bone idle
Look from 19 seconds onwards:-

and also remembering that not taking a risk in life (which clearly many of us are here) is in itself a risk. I used to work in the public sector and the vast majority of people there were scared of taking a risk, any risk and they were quite happy to let life pass them buy and allow themselves to rot frankly
TheDriver,
I know it's obvious (and we all know it's obvious) but half of the whole investment battle is surely human emotion and learning to deal with it.
I particularly like what Buffet says about investing being a 'no strike game'. Its so fricking obvious what he says, but its easy to loose sight of it's simplicity and applying it especially when emotion sets in
TheDriver,
Dont worry about hindsight mate, thats where everyones at their best!
Somm,
Im sure many felt your pain today, I know I certainly did. But sometimes, a bit of perpsective is needed.
When I think I'm having a bad day, I just look at this link:-

I know there were allagations of fakery etc, but that boy poor looked like he had a shit day
Logic may well say tomorrow will move back up, but logic just doesnt seem to apply here unfortunately
The thing is, it is so difficult to have the courage to buy when your holding has reduced by circa 18% in the blink of an eye. I'd probably think differently if HE wasn't around 20% of my holdings
re--buy them back, instantly.
I suppose this is alot about trust in DR T and the Company. I bet there are plenty of people on here who are invested and don't know much about fractured structures. When you go to the Doctor's and he says you have an illness or he says you don't have an illness you just have to trust him and for some thats the basis of investing in Hurricane.
spot on, its in these times that it tests your character
Do not sell Gents, Now's a prime opportunity to cash in on a loss
Enough said
at least the RNS has been very informative, not just P&A
Hi All,
It's just occured to me it's end of H1 today. Nice to think that HE comfortably achieved their stated objective of FOIL within H1. No doubt there were some who doubted it!
and also could there be the possibility of a flare still being visible before the TL is moved?
presumably the RNS may reveal that HE may return to the Well to 'repair' it (for lack of a better term) and use it for production / other purposes. ie not a complete waste of money and time?
All,
Just venting some man frustration here! - A pretty downbeat weekend and certainly one that has not made me feel good and has me reflect alot. Maybe because I have burnt by oilies before, both Echo Energy and Xcite, both who to the uneducated seemed to be into alot of ramping and hyping. I lost about £35K in total which didnt change my life but it certainly 'hurts' when you feel 'conned'. (which is of course may not be true but it felt that way)
Im hoping Monday wont be too bad. I have about 25% of my portfolio in this share and on Friday was up about 10%. When tempted to buy more, I've managed to resist and I hoping this strategy is proved wrong! I'm so hoping that DR T and his team make this happen.
I have managed to begin to condition my thoughts better and apply some rules which until now I hadn't been doing which was setting me up for failure. A recent success was Luceco where I doubled my money is about 8 weeks. I sold the whole holding, yep if could of gone higher (but it didnt) but boy did it feel good to take that profit!
