From the last RNS on 20 September
'Sea trials for the Aoka Mizu are due to commence by the end of September, with sailaway to follow shortly thereafter'
This statement was surely made and checked by intelligent people who have made an assessment of whether in fact the statement is true or not. With it being around 11 days from the 20th (date of RNS) to 31 September I would suggest that it will very probably happen before the end of September.
However, how do we actually know that the Sea Trials have not started yet?
Just out of interest, when the term 'Sea Trials' is mentioned does this require a physical moving of the ship at the commencement of the Sea Trials? What I am trying to ascertain is are there any parts of the Sea Trials that do not require the ship to move. No doubt everyone is watching Marine Traffic etc closely, but could elements of the trials actually have started (for example an on ship assessment that all cargo is secured) and that the first time she leaves the port could be very shortly before she departs towards Lancaster via Rotterdam
