will do scores later this evening
for 2013 my picks are:
1: SXX
2: AMER
3: BEM (again!!!!)
4: KAZ
5: DGE
6: BP
7: AAL
Some heavy weight divi paying stocks balanced with some risky AIMies... I've dumped CNE ..... I think it is years away from gaining significant value.... so that real life cert goes to the bottom of the sock drawer!
You need to have 7 stocks on the first day of trading in 2013.... if you choose your 7 now and barr and britters merge before 1st day trading 2013 you can choose another. If they merge afterwards then you're down to 6 stocks. SP's are those SP's on the bell on last day of trading in 2012.
So,,,,,,
DGE
SXX
BEM
AMER
need to find three decent divi paying defensive heavyweight FTSE 100 companies ..... 3/7 risky AIMies ..... Jibbo will bag CNR no doubt so I might go looking for a goldie?
fine by me......I might be dogmatic and stick with BEM .... again!...... I think CNE has a while left in purdah beofre we see fruits of UKCS aquisitions so I MAY dump CNE..... opportunity for P'dog.... and, am I losing faith in CNE? ... bit bloody late no the SP has tanked!!!!..... anyway been here before on far less solid foundations in the ealry noughties
I'm reserving Diageo for my VPF .... I am banking on Indians drinking vast amounts of Johnny Walker so see me to my first victory....can't have P'dog getiting three in a row!
Ok, scores are in and have been verified and are as follows:
1; P'dog + 28.4%
2: JT + 16.6%
3: Mogo + 4.8%
4: Jibbo - 24.7%
The field has opened up ---- I thought I was in with a shout of closing down P'dog on +20% but monster performance on MTC sees P'dog pull away.

AMER racing ahead...... if I hadn't been so badly mauled in 2011 ...I'd've probably backed it with real money on the basis they are based in Cardiff...... sod critical analysis of fundamentals, eh! *lol*
Could BEM be about to surprise as well?...still way of the pace at 12p ... they opened 2012 at 15p
Ahhhhhh....silly me..... *doh* .... still, Accoya/Triccoya are expensive products...... their time will come with the price of imported (into the EU) timber rising and legislation/disposal costs at end of life making it ever more difficult to use treated timber
.... not aware of customers falling over themselves to buy triccoya/accoya products? Performance is one thing, cost is another. Construction industry is on its knees... no sign of sustained improvement. Price is King and QS's will pay homage to price every time. Don't hold your breath with this one IMO. And, anyone stopped to wonder why the SP is 0.16p: not even a penny share!
