I'd be lost without the main posters on this group and LSE kindly allowing it to continue.
Thank you all for your time in keeping us less frequent ex HUR investors up to date.
Seem to recall it was too far to tie back to anyway. Might be miss-remembering.
In the "If only you’d invested in…" section.
Troubled North Sea oil firm Hurricane Energy (Aim: HUR) has secured a charter extension for the Aoka Mizu floating production storage and offloading vessel working on its Lancaster field, says Energy Voice. The charter was due to expire in June and Hurricane had said that failure to extend it would lead to the firm being wound down. It has also agreed a deal with BP – which buys the oil from Lancaster – that will allow it to be paid before cargoes are lifted. Huricane has $78.5m in bonds due in June, but higher oil prices have greatly improved its chances of repaying them. The shares are up 312% in the past year.
Having millions of free cash in the bank is the kind of trouble I can only dream of.
Completely agree thegame316.
£172M to £4B in twelve months is (IMO) ludicrous.
>> Still can't get my head around Maris Piper still being CEO though
If they ever drill again they’ll be handy when they Spud.
I always thought a Competent Person's Report was Conservative in the extreme. Well they don't seem very competent to me?
Yet another share I wish I'd never heard of added to the list.
I'm just trickling in buys of £5000, 12% down since I started doing it so a little early but here for a while. (I hope anyway.)
Been following for ages, missed the boat first time around with RRE but I'm slowly buying stocks including RRE this afternoon.
Got in too early last week with BP :(
I always held a candle for Elizabeth Montgomery who played Samantha in Bewitched... and obviously Cheryl Baker from Bucks Fizz. (yep, I know.)
I reckon confidence in him was lost by institutional investors. Let's face it, wasn't the best really.
Ha, yeah. I’m green with envy.
Some people have a little too much time on their hands.
These were funny when I saw them five years ago. ¯\_(?)_/¯
>> I don't think the likes of RB ever forgave him for the way he raised capital
Well it did cost us shareholders.
Just looked at Marine traffic and there are two tankers next to AM, the first one is Petroatlantic and the second one I can only assume has been jointly commissioned by Evian and Perrier. (I'll get my coat)

Your link isn't currently informing me of anything.
I can inform you though that HUR currently hold 100% of GLA though.
>> Barclays have cut price target from 50p to 22p this morning. Any thoughts?
Here's a thought, I'd have been more impressed with BARC if they cut their price target from 50p to 22p a few months ago. Following the herd.
Brokers, they forecast a price, miss it by miles, then put out a paper telling you what you now already know.
