Indeed Ghengis, in fact I'll refer WW to Alastair Stobie's tweeted response from June 5th.

Yep, Halifax discovered oil but couldn't get it to the surface because of the drilling fines combining with but to create a paste. My understanding is this has now been mitigated, there'll be other problems but I trust Dr T to find the solutions.

I should add that we know oil is present below structural closure but we've never tried to flow it. WD will test the flow rate for the deeper oil. That's why it's assigned a higher risk, finding the oil in WD is the first step, flowing it to surface is another story and in this instance by far is the important test.

Warwick deep is the first drill to date that's targeting oil *Outside* structural closure.
Read the article below and search in the page for 'outside of structural closure'.

If you read the article and search the page for the phrase "outside of structural closure" you'll start to see why Warwick Deep is so very important to us. If WD (which is below structural closure) comes in as Dr T hopes it will then we have wonderful news.

Nearer the AGM we must find a way of recognising each other. Red carnation under the clock type thing.
Seriously though, it would be good to share a pint with some of you after the AGM.

I agree, I cannot abide Facebook, I do not spend my time on FB telling other FB users that FB is evil.
(While I'm here I'd just like to let you know that Mark Zuckerberg is a nasty piece of work.)

Moody said in his chairmans statement "Sea Lion has the potential to be transformational for Rockhopper".
The only thing that transformed RKH in recent years was the farm out to PMO and it wasn't the kind if transformation I was hoping for. Meanwhile keep collecting your wages, pension contribution and free shares boy. Snouts in troughs.

Hmm, looks pretty accurate and on location to me.

Grey circle is Lancaster coords, the blue dot in AM.
>> The Aoka Mizu Port symbol appears to be about 10km to the east of the buoy co-ordinates
That's not the buoy though.
@BellNippleBear
Yep pretty damn sure.
I used these coords during the last hookup attempt on Marine Traffic and AM was smack overhead.
Lancaster buoy: 60.18, -3.87
Lincoln drill location: 60.1183, -3.93
A white horse trots into a bar and orders a whiskey, the landlord says "Ha, we have a whiskey named after you" and the horse replied "What, Trevor?"
I bet he's gutted he couldn't be there... unless he's making the 'Father of the Bride' speech via video link. ??
Just seen it too! :)
AM on Marine Traffic is back online and still bang on the buoy at 16:47.
...then a rns from company saying sorry we haven't oil we made a mistake its water.
Desire Petroleum. Possibly the most incompetent Exploration Director an oil company has ever seen. Forget their name and to be frank don't want to remember it either. Couldn't tell the difference from oil and water, wow!
Thankfully Dr Trice seems competent.
