Ok, let's see if I can articulate my thoughts after a very late night ferrying my daughter and her friend to and from a Jonas Brother concert.
Let's say things aren't as good as they seem, none of us know this, only those looking at the data know if things are good or bad at the moment, but let's assume.
So, onto the question aimed at others better than I at this sort of thing. If HUR continue with debottlenecking and stick another hole in the ground on Lancaster, then pump at a rate of 35,000 barrels a day, (post debottlenecking) what would be the book value of HUR?
>> 'I’ve been monitoring HUR since 2014, never liked it...'
I dislike cheese, intensely dislike cheese. You can find me daily on cheese forums and chat groups since 2014 stating my dislike of cheese.
Couldn't make it up.
Interesting post JoeBass, thanks for linking.
From memory it was around 21/22 December. It was Stena Natalita for the 7th load.
Don't expect an update and we don't know if it's commercial or not. I think that's one we'll possibly have to wait for the Capital Markets Day to answer. My guess is they're concentrating on the known knowns of Lancaster and Lincoln.
This is terrible news, I don't get out of bed for less than 1.5 billion barrels. ;)
>> You have to question why anyone would bring it up again.
They will, in the same way the bring up ESP's when it's been stated again and again how good natural flow is.
>> they could issue an RNS observing the tumbling share price
..and so could PMO, RKH, MATD, ECO, CHAR - Tullow already have. ;)
>> So only last week we had Dr T given a presentation to the Scottish oiler club about the super giant field WOS,
>> that is not so super giant as this week we now have a water cut issue
Who say's there a problem, some twonk with an agenda on this bb!
It's perched water, not aquifer and was even mentioned it was likely to be present in the Competent Persons Report.
HUR have not lifted 2.5 Million barrels of Evian since June.
ffs!
>> Reading back through EV's posts it is obvious that he is suggesting there is a higher water cut percentage at Lancaster than initially.
>> We shall have to wait a few weeks to find out if he has inside information.
EV doesn't know his inside leg measurement let alone inside information. Stop giving a buffoon airtime on the bb when I've already filtered their posts.

I think you need to change your username.
Just a thought and perhaps has been posted prior to me, apologies if so...
The Spirit sale as been seen as a negative by some but is it possible that a potential Spirit sale may just accelerate the development of the GWA?
935 mmboe (467 to Spirit) would certainly have an effect the sale price of Spirit and has got to be in their interest to display a near dated route to market.
>> Dammit. Wish I were in London tonight. Thanks for your post.
...and thank you for an elegant and knowledgeable answer. :)

If anyone here is lucky enough to be attending may I suggest a relevant GLA question.
The Halifax drill wasn't successful due to drilling fines clogging up the hole restricting/stopping flow, why did this happen at Halifax but not at Lancaster and is this something they feel they have mitigated for the future?
>> Proving what he believed in all along.
I've stopped arguing with them, they'll see.
>> genuinely can't see anyone worth voting for
Yep, this! ^
...but do stand a chance of leading a minority government.
...based on past experience of successful flow tests I think we'll see new lows. ;)
Before you rush in thinking about news regarding Warwick West, I have no news.
I can however confirm that HUR hit it big a couple of years back at Lancaster and are flowing a marvellous amount of oil as we speak, They also hit it big again about a month ago with a wonderful flow test of Lincoln.
HUR have hit it big, success at WW would just be a cherry on an already very tasty pudding. Cherry (WW) or not, HUR is going to be a great investment.
>> This is assuming the PBLJ is assigned to GWA and not a sneaky drilling campaign on GLA
I'm guessing a bit of both myself, the board stated the desire to stick another couple of producers on Lancaster as part of their 100MB reserves project.
My guess is with potential new Lancaster producers and the GWA... we're going to need that bigger boat. (FPSO)
