It's 4.20am so 160 mins to poss rns and a change of future (can you do that?) for SPO well you know what I mean. So will CG'S offer be one the bod can recommend to shareholders? The lack of interest in the stock leading up to today leads me to think the offer will be turned down as not reflecting the true value of the Co etc...etc... As my forecasting record is dodgy to say the least, you can expect the opposite! No harm in hoping.

Seems prudent to me to await the CG offer at the very least. How badly do they want Sportech? Well, won't be long before we find out and as to the vat well who knows? Downside from CG failing to make an irresistible offer is limited I think as most holders are focusing on the vat case. How the delay has affected CG'S offer I don't know, as I suspect they wanted a decision before announcing anything to SPO holders? The best laid plans....eh?

The vat case is out of the way we await the news that CG cannot raise enough cash to make a sensible offer. They have until Friday (close) to come up with the goods. Good, then we can then all go back to sleep until they can find a judge not presiding over traffic offenders or banging up jaywalkers and litter louts. Have a good nap!

Bet you if you were caught doing 31 in a 30 zone they'd find a judge to bang you up double quick! Anyway where are all the judiciary? Oh yea, gone off to sunnier climes where the pay is good and houses are cheaper and...........well pretty much everything else you care to name!

Claim delayed! FFS!!! Apparently due to lack of judges? Or perhaps anyone with brains? Or perhaps the shysters are behind this delay? So 2016? What a bloody shambles!

Will this be the final Court appearance for both sides? Let's hope so as you may have forgotten Spo challenged HMRC way back in 2009 when the amount of claimed vat overpayment was £40m (currently at stake £93M +). This latest appeal by Spo was lodged in Jan this year

Monday 2/11 the court sits for what may be the most momentous day in Sportech's history. I hate to be quite so dramatic but cannot think of another occasion when so much hinged on the next few days. One where winning could be transformational for the Co in that 75% of our mrkt cap is at stake. For such a small Co that is metamorphoric! Galling as it might be that our fate is in the hands of others we must trust that the court's decision will be fair and just and not ruled on semantics and word interpretations. Don't expect a quick decision!
