Bruno10, the sales team will be busy engaging with the NHS at the moment raising awareness of the test etc so as soon as full NICE approval is given, sales can start happening immediately. You don't wait for this to happen and then start selling, in other words, all the ground work will be currently underway.

There lies the contradiction in many discussions on this board. On the one hand several posters regularly state that the company is unable to see the test both nationally and internationally until full regulatory approval is given (by NICE and overseas regulators) and then on the other hand moan insessitently about Mr Budd and the companies wider sales team about no sales. You can't have it both ways!

In the life span of AIHL going back several years, an imminent national roll out is the next stage .

We were told last week that there had been strong interest nationally for the test to be adopted across the NHS - this will then lead to a national roll out imminently.

MyIPA. I had an email from the Devote team saying that the contracts are with Innovate UK to be signed off and as soon as this happens, the individual projects will be formally announced and we will then know the funding allocation.

Roger65...you really don't understand how public grant funding works. The company cannot announce their devote funding allocation until the projects are announced publicly by Innovate UK and the devote project team. There have been multiple posts abou

t this so it beggars belief you are still spreading false rumours about this.

News could come at anytime on multiple fronts this month.

Roger 65 - the Devote projects have not been formally and publicly announced yet by Innovate UK and the Devote team at UoM so there is no way the company can release their allocation before this happens obviously.

MFT have just put an update on Linked in saying 600 babies have been tested so far in Greater Manchester and 6 babies have had hearing loss prevented. That's brilliant to hear.

Ok thanks Eureka, so I think we are all agreed that the company has made no historical public statement around FDA news in July.

When did the company tell you that FDA news was due by end July? They didn't.

Devote projects have not been publicly announced yet so Mr Budd cannot reveal the amount of funding until this happens!

Stop spreading untruths!!

I understand shareholder frustration re the progress but to be fair to Mr Budd and the company, he/they too are waiting on an awful lot of updates and confirmations from (amongst others) UKCA, FDA, the Devote team, NICE, NHS procurement etc etc . These things take time and a lot longer than anyone wants but there has to be recognition what is in the companies influence and what is not (i.e timescales etc for regulatory approvals).

Great to hear that the NICE evidence generation plan will be published shortly.

Newbieinvest - the company has already given us the positive news that they are part of the Devote funding but Innovate UK have not yesterday signed off the final contract, so GDR can't yet confirm what their funding allocation is. I am led to believe that it should only be a few days before the final contracts are signed.

Hi starrs. Sorry it appears you have missed the fact the test has been approved by NICE to be adopted across the NHS.

Anyone that says they have written AIHL off after it's JUST received NICE approval to be taken up by the NHS has both no understanding of how sales and procurement works in the NHS and also zero credibility!
