NYCT would have to prove it lost business (and at what cost) before any compensation could be awarded. I'm not sure how they could even prove that (as compared to sitting on their hands and doing nothing productive while business went down).
MM will have no interest in this share. 20 trades a day, do you think they will be interested in an extra £3.50 in extra trades a day?
It's for Novacyt to encourage buying with positive RNS.
People are bored with this share, it's done nothing in years but go down, people are voting with their feet and buying elsewhere to (hopefully) make money.
If there are no other bidders and the board fails to get the required 75% vote then the SP will plummet.
All that will happen is the board will recommend a revote and with a lower SP Novacyt might offer less.

A lot of hard work has gone on for this offer to be made, lots of research, due diligence being at the forefront any any decision.
Months of ongoing talks between both BODs, agreements, extenal companies also doing due diligence, to think another company is going to make an offer at the last second , I don't think so.
I think you would find the more there was to do, the more interested the lawyer would be, regards of whether the company was in trouble. Lawyer's are only after money. They are there to advise.
Now a solicitor might be more inclined to be picky who they choose to represent..
"apparently more deadly than all the rest"
Nowhere can i see would sugest this.

Hard to belive James McCarthy had his head held high when mentioning he was hoping to be given full CEO position.
We are down nearly 40% since he was given acting CEO. This is not the man for a public company - if he can't step up to get the role, image what his atitude to share holders would be if he got the job.

From the lofty SP heights of 1190, the price dropped and dropped until finally GM 'retired'.
1190 to 323 (the price GM announced his retirement on 29 July 2021) is a drop of 73%
257 was the price when DA officially started (18th Oct) and is now the SP is 70 - that's a drop of 73%
I can't understand why he is this here collecting big pay rises myself.
