I believe you will get more than you are hoping for. 65c total div in 25 would be less than 24 div in real terms. I expect a 70c total div for 25 with a share bb between end of february 26 and final div payment date reducing s/h to perhaps 925 mill so div payout would be c.650mill ( 953/25 and 925/45) -not much greater than 24 fig of 630mill. Having said that 23 div was larger than 24,even if only by 4mill.

Article does not apportion returns between divs and BBs.

In 24 1,22bn split 630mill divs and 590mill BB.

In 23 1.15bn split 634mill divs and 520mill BB.

So near enough 50/50 in both years.

With s/h now approaching it's lowest level ( say 953mill end of current bb) would expect divs securing greater %age of distributions going forward.

End of year s/h 5% less than 24 y/e so a 5% increase in 25 div is a zero increase in real terms . 630mill 24 div / 953mill = div of 66.1c so a 5% increase should result in a 25 total of 69.41div.

According to SBP BIRG/AIB Shareholders on track for 13Billion return over next 4 years - say 1.5Bn pa for BIRG.
