From memory any trade 6 times over nms will be delayed in getting posted. From memory there is certain limits on delays depending on size of deal in relation to nms forget exact size and delay duration.
Do not make the mistake that what is quoted at end of day is correct. Trades will be auto noted as to whether they are buy or sell by a program that looks at the current bid offer price , the market maker does not declare this. remember trades can be delayed posted by up to days in some cases therfore for example a trade 2 days ago of 500k at 58p and posted today would be auto posted as a buy where in fact it was a sell 2 daya ago. All IMO of course.
Think last day to buy for div qualification is tomorrow due to 3 day settlement. (T3).
Current Trading & Outlook XLMedia experienced a strong period of growth in 2013. This excellent performance further reinforces the business model and underpins the Board's target through its dividend policy of at least a 50% pay-out rate. The current financial year has started well with strong sales growth in our core European markets, particularly in our strategic targets, English and German speaking countries. The Group continues to be encouraged by the development of the U.S. market and believes the Company is well placed to capitalise on this significant growth opportunity. With the progress made in 2013, and in view of the strong start to 2014, the Board remains confident of delivering continued growth in 2014.
well well 12.5% down on no news or is news about to break?
hard to tell if buys or sells , price movement would suggest they are sells,
Some big trades going through, probably delayed sells , explains the drop maybe.
Yes well said , nothing has changed (apart from the SP ) so I guess its just the nature of the market, will always be volatile and its not for the faint hearted. May very well drop further from here but as 967 says and I agree this will come good but noone knows when.
Believe this goes ex div tuesday should be an interesting week. Would expect a rise tomorrow, small pullback after ex div then sharp rise. Be lucky.
Hi remember its a paper loss you havnt lost anything till you sell. im in a similar position have over 25k shares averaging at 64p.when it goes ex div they may drop the value of divi initially but dnt foget you are getting that divi payment , so you are no worse off. I will be holding for a while yet and hope to see big movement ex div , in the right direction ! good luck to all holders
Only you can decide but if you bought in with money you can afford to sit on then I dnt really see a problem. Dnt try to day trade this as you will end up losing a packet, sit tight IMO, or maybe top up!!
i have no intention of selling now or even in 2-3 months , I am not a trader. You always lose money as soon as you buy any share due to the spread , but its not as high as you say as you can always buy and sell well within the quoted buy / sell prices.
yep , just bought another 10k.
