I reckon it likely the fat cat Edwards family have done a lot of on site research into the company and would explain their selling up a huge wodge of their shares. I have sold as I think the prospects have deteriorated since the Edwards sold and the 3rd quarter results. Even if I am wrong I m not happy voting any confidence in the company that can't even organise a decent rns and whose accounts just show them enriching themselves not shareholders. This should be the golden age for hmi and they manage a hefty drop in sales orders for 3rd q. this was not lost on me nor the Edwards I ve little doubt. And it is in my view likely they found out before the rest of us.

Assuming those orders are 100% solid I still question whether the sales are on an upward trajectory given the 3rd quarter results which are lower than the previous year. A "timing issue" doesnt make sense to me and indicates sales are falling because of competition or just Brian bungles of other kinds. Swingy does give overly optimistic forecasts I agree though that's common to most emotional blind investors.

Crannog youre wrong of course. The share rose 100% while the rest of the market slumped in n the first half of the year. The 3 rnses were further evidence that the management are unfit to run a company. As buffett says the management are the cornerstone of a business

Are they massively growing sales? Not by the latest rns. A robust 4th quarter - who knows? It s basically a terrible company that is being decimated by local competition

Chique it is logical isn't it ? I regard the timing issue as an insult to any intelligent person. At the historically busiest time of the year the sales drop. After holding for several years a month ago Edwards start selling - and quite a large amount. With hindsight isn't it likely that they could afford to investigate what was going on with the company and would be foolish not to do so ?

funny that nobody here saw the writing on the wall when Edwards sold and sold . clearly they had wind of the problems. the drop in sales in q3 is not just a timing issue. It is a problem of being outcompeted by other products.
