I think a very close examination of just what the government has been up to and exactly what it’s trying to achieve is long overdue. The damage done to ODX GDR NCYT while they (HMG) behave as if they have no accountability and it’s quite acceptable to stitch up the UK diagnostic industry while the Innova dodgy deals keep on happening is becoming more of an issue for me than orders and contracts now.

Hoping for good news tomorrow and wishing I had more spare cash.

Stop the games ? Why bother it’s not like we've been waiting patiently for six months while the sp drop from £12 to £3.50 or anything is it.
Have to say the company have lots of products, look like a really good prospect but as HMG DHSC seem determined to do their best impression of lemmings and without any firm orders contracts or figures they are leaving themselves wide open. Surely we must get a result soon if not for goodness sake tell the government where to get off and concentrate on customers who will do business and pay their bills. Six months at the height of a pandemic is far too long to waste.

It beggars belief that Boris can say what he does about creating a UK Diagnostic Industry, or even about business in general, while the HMG/DHSC continue to use ( and order more of ) the inferior and now more expensive, Chinese manufactured tests which the FDA have withdrawn from use and instructed users to throw away. No doubt there is some hidden political agenda but that is exactly the problem. Why don't we know what is the thinking behind this apparently insane behaviour ?

Completely insane as far as I can tell.This governments response to testing and building a “Uk diagnostic industry” seems to be based on how badly can they do it and how difficult can they make it. There is a certain irony in Freedumb day and various government ministers having to self isolate - if they weren't needlessly causing so much illness, hardship, death and misery.

My search on Google was for Covid 19 tests but this is the best that came back.
I suppose what I'm trying to do is see what HMG are spending ( and with who ) on testing.
I was also trying to find a list of approved tests - seem to remember somebody posting a link a week or two back, in an effort to see who has tests that are approved.
Are there any UK manufacturers who are approved and who are they ?

Wondering where ( apart from Innova ) all the tests of both types being used by HMG and private companies are coming from.
Digging about on the Boots site they seem to be using EKF tests, we know HMG seem to have a fetish for all things Oriental but is there a definitive list anywhere, Bidstats, MHRA for example ?

Agree the interview was a bit light on detail but good to be kept informed.
