I’ve seen the 400 number weeks ago that’s not new news. I think it is provisional. Nothing to get excited about.

I think I could work it out even in a double blind. Really shouldn’t be that hard. Compare the hundred against a hundred not in the trial. Unless the efficacy is low you should see a difference.

From my understanding Avacta is supplying the reagents for tests? So can be supplying numerous test suppliers. I think this is a very good business model. It means different countries can use their own Pharmas to make these tests using tech from Avacta. It’s as bit like the gold rush, we are supplying the shovels. Unless I have it all wrong, in which case I apologise in advance.

I reckon beginning of June too. I also think they will motor through that trial.

Companies do make bad decisions. Rolls Royce for example, years ago, decided to concentrate on civil aerospace. And what’s more they chose to have a pay by the flying hour model. Oh dear.

I think we need an antigen test for the first ‘at home’ test. I wonder if we have been talking to a British supplier though.

I think the antigen test is the best we have. PCR obviously the most accurate but too slow, antibody test will obviously only pick up antibodies, and they don’t appear straight away. So even, and probably, if it’s not as accurate as we would like, it’s still the best we have for a quick test. We may have to suffer a few false negatives, we can’t stay in lockdown forever, we need to be pragmatic. IMHO the R number will go above one pretty quickly after we relax the rules. We are screwed either way. The test will help a lot though.

The country needs to get going again, unfortunately the R number will go over one IMHO, we are in a straight jacket. F****d really.

SNG001 is inhaled and has been well tolerated in over 300 patients. Even those suffering with Covid.

HL or Lansdowne?

No sure that’s how I see it. No matter the share you will always get a spike on positive publicity. And by definition, there’s a downside to a spike. For it to stay up would have required the IIs to stop selling. But even without them it would have been overbought, that’s always the way.
