I especially liked this bit - The electrolyte is flowing! It’ll be even better when we are processing our own.
The sales volume includes intercompany sales of 1,255 mtV, of which 833 mtV have post period end been converted into final sales to customers.
Anyone listening in at the moment?
Gary ... from Sibanye Stillwater one of the biggest PGM miners in the world just made a point about reliable green power is required to increase investment in mining in South Africa and it is at the top of the investor risks. He then said something like 'I'm sure we'll hear more about that later'.
I'll get the full text later. Interesting!
Theoretically you could use it for any length of time by increasing the size of the electrolyte tanks. Somewhere that is dark for long periods I would suggest that wind or wave power would be the best way to charge. Obviously the more charging capacity you have the smaller the battery can be. Working out the optimum charging/storage capacity required would be the issue.
Be interesting if there is an announcement on Monday and a very big buy last thing on Friday afternoon, yet to be reported.
I remember when there was a 80k buy jus5 before Vametco was announced which at the time amounted to about 2 million shares.
I for one would be against any spin off of our Energy side.
Alfa, I have to agree 100%. Anyone who has been here for a while will know that Fortune’s greatest strengths are the deals that he does and the partnerships that he produces.
Look at the Vametco and Vanchem deals and the partnerships with IES and Enerox. BMN have a presence in China supplying Vanadium, look for partnerships in VRBF, especially electrolyte as East London comes online.

Ferro-vanadium prices jumped 10.9% in China on Christmas Eve raising prices to $29.5-31.5/kgV (FastmarketsMB)
The rise in prices is likely to lead vanadium prices higher in the US and Europe as shipments are diverted to China looking for higher prices
China is importing increasing tonnages of ferro-vanadium for the alloying of structural rebar and other steel for new construction and infrastructure projects.
Other elements for the alloying of steel and other materials are also seen rising.
US Hot Rolled Coil steel prices have risen to a new high up 2.6% at $1,025/ton on Monday and up 3.3% on a week earlier.
VRFBs: Invinity Energy Systems shares continue to rise following the sale of an 0.8MWh flow battery for a Scottish Water site.
Bushveld a first right of refusal to supply vanadium electrolyte to Invinity in which it also has a 8.71% stake.
