Update on my 18th Nov post:
Received additional info today, trial participant is doing very well and continues on the trial. This participant was initially given a +/- 3-month life expectancy, up until Christmas to be precise. However, I fully realize this date can be quite open ended when it comes to these matters. Patient has been on the trial since mid/late September and the bottom line "is currently keeping well". Hopefully this continues and leads to a positive outcome for many additional patients as the trial continues. As others have stated the people on the Avacta trial or any medical trial for that matter deserve our best wishes for a full recovery.
Lay off those magic mushrooms as they distort the mind. Been there done that many moons ago. The primary school I attended had them inadvertently growing on a large grass play area close to a river. You can imagine the explaining the head teacher had with the parents :-) Every boy in the school who sampled the goods thought for a short period he was the next Jimmy Hendrix :-)
Wise words DG.....there's a lot to be said for stuffing it under the mattress.....getting the timing right though is the big problem :-). Many would argue though that paying taxes is what keeps a country afloat for future generations etc, etc.
I done a dummy trade for £15k buy and £15k sell about 10mins ago with HL......buy and sell price virtually identical.
Looks like an order being filled, all the trades recorded lately showing as sells but many will be buys.
Wyn, finally it appears you realize, if you curtailed your bumming and blowing about how good you are at trading there would be a lot less agro on this BB. You often state how you are requested to publicise your trades ? why bother ? no one believes you anyway or gives a toss for that matter. If your trades are correct, good for you, but don't bum and blow about it. Are you really so insecure you need constant reassurance on your prowess as an expert in trading.
CARNIVAL'S CUNARD SEES STRONGEST START TO WAVE SEASON IN LAST DECADE
(Sharecast News) - Carnival said on Tuesday that its luxury cruise line Cunard booked more guests in the first week of January than any equivalent period in the last decade.
The cruise operator said Cunard has seen strong booking momentum across 2023 and 2024 sailings, with summer itineraries and Queen Anne's maiden season proving to be particularly popular with guests.
Carnival UK president, Sture Myrmell, said: "Following two of our strongest booking periods in 2022, we have seen unparalleled bookings during the start of Wave.
"We've increased our marketing investment significantly, including the use of TV advertising for the first time as we reach and appeal to new audiences.
"It's clear that guests are looking forward to stepping back on board both in the UK and across all our global markets."
Cruise wave season starts right after the winter holiday season and continues until the end of March.
Looks like my top ups at 80p, 87p, 90p and 103p were a very good decision :-). Glad I never listened to the doomsayers who said Saga was going bust, will be doing a cash raise, blah, blah, blah. Agreed tomc1, lets hope the reversal has well and truly begun.
Good luck everyone
