Just a reminder that at the last CMD they were going to flatline 20k production this year, with catch-up of downtime periods, so flaring is unlikely to be a constraint.

wellwell calculates @ $32, but dosn't compare it to the contracted rig DAILY cost of $205,000. Add the support costs (double it) and ask about Lancaster #8...

Neither do VOG include the alternate board member of New Age and HKN listed by Kerogen; and neither do Hurricane, but that would seem to be the least of their problems imo.

Genghis, yes and not just the CMD. Prior to the CMD, we have the AR.
It will include a statement on being a Going Concern, on the date issued, planned for 19th. [PMO did theirs last week!].
Last year they were still looking forward to first oil, and in 'Assessing the viability of the Group
over the Lookout Period' they considered the oilprice downside to just $50/b.

The recent RNS identified several costs for the coming year, but far, far from all of them. Their full plan will need to be declared to the Auditors; "Sub-vertical well(s)" will need quantifying.

We do not know why the BOD felt it better that AS should leave, but we do know from their previous guidance that following the Spirit farm-in the planning timescales were nothing short of ambitious and a rig was required to drill the 2nd three production horizontals.
The FID for Phase 2 was originally set at end of September and they would have needed to know the cost of the project in order to agree to proceed to the Company timeline set out.
If only Dr T's prognosis had been more dependable...
