MB, happy to hear of your investment success! However, having been in this share since buying at the absolute bottom price of the year I like to think I also have done rather well with my multi bag! Think I am going take the profit of that tranche and run, best £100 investment ever!! Its just the other tranches holding me back, a bit of creative accounting and the lack of respect for money mean I can be happy knowing that it will come good one day, I think.
Happy Christmas once again to all fellow suffers. Think that's 7 if not the 8th time we have all 'shared Christmas.
"Buy on romour sell on news" is the saying I believe. I know its dragging on somewhat and you could say we have had plenty of romours over the years, I'm really hoping that that the rns stating agreement in principle wasn't the 'news'!!!!!
Mr Cause, any court movement to report?
I can't remember if they had issued new deadlines to the banks.
A past patener used to tell tales of the misery they piled onto the little people on a daily basis, they being the bank of ultimate greed led by Sir Shred. Let's hope our banks have a shred of morality.
Morning Barksy, I suppose there could be many, esp those who bought through TSX (remember it was a Canadian Co when we were introduced to it) who stuck it in the bottom draw waiting for the borate mine to get going!
Seriously, you need to ignore those that say it isn't going to happen. How the hell do they know. I can't actually describe how much they they pi## me off. Absolute bulls#it to suggest it isn't going to go ahead. To date there has been nothing to suggest that agreement in principle is not going to be finalised. I know there are some overly exuberant posters here, nothing wrong with dreaming.
Until we have an rns saying that conclusion can't be reached don't think otherwise.
Never before have our company bosses bought shares on the open market in such frequency. They may be doing so to show positivity whilst time drags on, if that's the reason, great, at least they are confident.
Those that suggest they are doing so just to keep their jobs are pretty bloody cynical.
Share price, we are waiting for the paperwork to be finalised and signed off by all. That is, the paperwork in relation to the banks claim which has been agreed to in principle.
It maybe obvious to you of course, but nobody who comments on this board has anymore information available to them than you do. The rns that matters is that agreement in principle had been REACHED. THAT means we are on our way to the recomencment of the project and finally a project that gives us an income. Unless we are notified that we have been derailed don't let the naysayers cause any doubt.
Conversely, don't let the positive and overly positive comments regarding iron ore prices convince you that we will all be millionaires next year. The ore price may have doubled but by the time we start mining it could be less than the figures quoted in the project statements last year. See what happened to lithium prices.
Personally, I am getting pi##ed off waiting for my riches to arrive but every day that passes hopefully means we are a day closer to a big smile.
Thanks MB, fair play for waiting it out. As with rem nothing happens quickly. I haven't looked yet but will do. Cheers
Hi MB
as with mac I thought I would take a look. Back to work IMMINENTLY for a while. Upon my return perhaps you could share your interest here. Cheers
Joe
I assume one of the biggest sticking points regarding the bank contract is the ore price. How do you reach agreement when the price has doubled since negotiation started? Perhaps they want some sort of price tracker attached. Had it been a declining market they may have been a little more hasty.
Condolences of course. One of the many illnesses that rob you of the strength to be, and I guess cause so much heartache to those looking on. Such a shame to have missed the the miracle which now seems so close.
Cheers Denver.
Chunky buys
Ob's,
Can you spot the flaw in the logic? Yep. I would hazard that the majority of people who buy and trade this share and similar small cap Co's, which are prone to fairly large price fluctuations, do so on their perceived current sentiment. For instance, I believe the fall in bcn's price from its high point had little or nothing to do in the value of Li and was all about time scales.
As we know, it is traders that move the price. Long-term holders don't create a market. Christ knows what will happen when Mr James cashes his million shares in at 25p. That, in its self raises questions as to our sp going forward. I wonder how many of the long term holders will sell on the up or will they wait for a few more years to see what this 'investment' company returns to us? After all, those that criticise the traders would be hypocritical to sell before the first dividend.
Indeed Cause, mask wearing is quite normal for many in some Asian countries. I wonder if this has helped to reduce the spread of covid in these countries or, as we are lead to believe, its more that the population are more inclined to follow the rules imposed on them? Certainly a problem in this country is the arrogance of many who will not be told, regardless of the consequences for others. Such an altruistic bunch we are!
Think you are right Dickp. plenty of opportunity to make money elsewhere, esp, since the latest vaccine news. General happiness all round, even PPE still has a good few months of sales ahead.
Anybody have views on the requirements of masks etc going forward? I wonder if this virus will be forgotten as quickly as it appeared or will the population be changed forever in terms of 'germs' and cleanliness? (obviously those that have been affected by the virus won't forget).
Risky though it is to be out of this share when news could drop in the next minute, there will be many (including myself) who have been waiting for game changing news for years. I really hope we get a sniff of good news soon.
It would be nice to see a contract note of the forward sale of ore.
