Mlq, re 5p rise, I hope what I am about to say doesn't happen but..... although there appear to be many holders well down on their investment here, there will be many who are well up. Obviously it takes new money to drive the price up but it could be that those cashing in will temper the rise. Wasn't all that long ago the sp was less than 5p here.
Thanks for putting my mind at rest. For a moment I thought you were implying, for instance, that Ob's facts and figures, £100 mil plus, strong buy etc was in fact not how it is and may have been misleading. Knowing that we will be a 70p + shortly is why I borrowed so much money to invest here.
Once again, thank you.
Mentioned them couple of days ago. It really is a dream but even if we did half of their rise it would be stunning, unbelievable even but we did 3000% before on nothing but bluster. Hope there are enough traders out there who haven't been burnt here before to carry us higher.
Gla, I think we will need it.
How many times I have sat tight and not sold out to make a quick kill elsewhere? I dread to think. I have done so on a couple of occasions but how many times I haven't because one of our many projects was about to send this share crazy, jeez, there always seems to be a game changer coming next week. Why else wouldn't our b.o.d be filling their boots. Biggest miss to date has been NCYT, early part of the year they did 100% one day and I just thought there wasn't much left in it. Low to high this year, 160 bag. This god damned share is not good for my health.
I had a 5 k trade after 4 pm today. For some reason Barclays seem to like the nex market (hasa new name I think), not sure if they use both markets? I have never been convinced it was good to be listed on both, it may soften spikes or dumps, you'd think it would make it easier to unload but I have often struggled to get a quote either way with Barclays.
I think I am right in saying that you can sell your shares ahead of x div day and you still get it. I can't remember exactly, depends on the settlement period, ie, although your broker, ( pretty hopeless Barclays in my case) allow you to sell shares and use the money to trade immediately the trade doesn't actually settle for 2 or3 days meaning the shares are still in your name ,conversely you don't get the divi on shares you have bought until they are settled in your name. Would be happy for anyone to confirm this for me.
Nick, wtf! Don't know how old you are but someone close to you should have warned you. Something's are best kept secret. A drunken quicky at a party is just as bad as an affair, likewise trading shares is no better than being a valued customer at the casino. Good luck.
Isb, I couldn't agree more. I'm sure the tech already exists or at must be close. To be honest, said vehicle would need to have no human input other than a destination postcode. If you convince people to follow safety guidelines for covid I'm bloody sure I wouldn't trust them to follow the instructions of an autonomous vehicle.
Morning Dog ,where did you read that ?
We might find an offer through the letter box . Who was it that wanted our emh shares the other day? I can't find the notice about it, perhaps I was dreaming. Sonora being nationalized would suit me, as much as anything the Bacanora team deserve a shafting as far as I am concerned. They had our board in much the same way as many who post on here feel we have been tucked up. Imagine if we had reasonable offers for all our investments , grab the cash and fold the co!
Ob that's great. Ivy posted it yesterday and we are still talking about it now. That isn't me having a dig at you . I know there are a good few on here who have the time to dig around, research on here by you all is second to none and it would be a dull place without you. When we are left to guess it allows doubt to be cast by our negative friends, it allows any with positivity to be labelled as rampers. Had the placing rns included a line about the Sema office being open for business last week and said paperwork expected in a day or so we may actually have finished in the blue on Friday.
when selling some of our investments to cover running cost they had stuck to the share buy back as announced and held in treasury we, potentially, wouldn't have needed the last placing or any going forward. I'm not sure what we have left to sell, but if they are so sure of the success of Amapa then getting as many shares back in company hands at these prices has to make sense. We are after all an investment co and trading in and out is something these guys should be good at, at least better than us. So far they don't seem to be.
The deal has to work for all parties. The lenders will end up with nowt until the little guys are paid. Anyone know how many local people /companies are affected? It will come good for them in the end, just hope we are a part of it.
Tongue in cheek. But it really is a million pound question. I'm pretty sure we handed it over. I also recall big D tweeting about it. Mr James, you were an active follower of Leni back then, any recollection?
