I hear you John, but the Irish banks have to be some of the most insular going, no real involvement outside of Ireland, even BOI exiting it’s UK / US bits and pieces, no borrowing on the money markets, stuffed full of long term local deposits, most of their income from that and mortgages in a country with a housing shortage, with no real commercial loans to international players and only lending to domestic blue chips, despite all the huffing & puffing - no real competition! It’s hard to see why they move like penny shares!
