A bit of digging says that BOI has approx 2% of the UK car finace market, so if 2% lands you with a £1B problem then the Uk banks have a £49B problem!

John, I imagine if FG/FF get back in then AIB will buy more of the Gov shares out, funnily enough if SF get in they will want dividends and keep the Gov shares, so with massive dividends, perversely this may increase the SP!
