A strange decline?20 Jul 2020 15:52
Surprised that this stock has began to decline again, thought that more people would have been saving up, ready to go back out to meet with family and friends again that they haven't properly seen in months, boosted by the fact that everyone is 'stay-cationing'. In this sense I think the economy is likely to boom not recede later in the year- people can't wait to spend! Plus, these 'polls' can say what they want about people being too afraid to go back but I prefer what Peter Lynch says- take a walk down the local streets and see what's popular- and all you can see is that pubs and bars are packed out. Im also in my 20s and all my social media is talking about is how excited they are for a night out. Maybe its the issue of the company's debt repayments or just a worry over a second wave that is pushing this stock down? (Even so, it maintained 200+ for a while prior to reopening). I would love to get some input here about what more experienced investors think about this- since personally I thought the increase would have continued after it hit 170.
