Promises and Alistair Ford20 Sep 2018 04:51
“People with good intentions make promises. But people with good character keep them.”
If you actually sit back and think about all the recent messages coming from the company, they're extremely positive, but at the moment, that's all they are, messages.
If you now consider what Alistair Ford has said, objectively without emotion, then it would be naive and gullible in the extreme to think RY hasn't fed the date of September to him. He hasn't just plucked September from thin air.
A couple of posters have suggested that theses messages have been designed to assist Riverfort in their endeavor to off load.
If and I STRESS IF, that's the case, then RY is playing with fire and he must be cognizant of the impact this will likely have on LTH, resulting in a lose of confidence and loyalty.
Is this the type of behavior that he is now resorting to ? I actually think not, but for some reason, as yet unexplained, he is not giving what he's promising, causing confusion, frustration, anger and angst. It's also becoming a very divisive topic among shareholders.
I guess no promise would be better than a fake or broken promise.
I do not doubt for one minute that the sp will be several multiples of current state, at some point. The shear magnitude and quality of what we have here is staggering, and I find it incredible, even with all the known knowns, the EV revolution and the burgeoning demand for class 1 nickel, that no one has taken a punt on us.
So Robin, keep your promises to yourself, it will be better for all. and remember, the importance of promises.
“Don’t make promises you don’t intend to keep.”
“There is no greater fraud than a promise not kept.”
“Don’t talk, act. Don’t say, show. Don’t promise, prove.”
“Under promise. Over deliver.”
“People with good intentions make promises. But people with good character keep them.”
“Promise is a big word. It either makes something or it breaks everything.”
