"In fact, there are two types of nickel, Class 1 and Class 2. The stainless steel that comprises the primary use for nickel comes primarily from Class 2 nickel, which has an iron component. And while that suits the needs of stainless steel just fine, Class 2 nickel lacks the purity for use as a component of batteries.

The electric vehicle revolution is steadily increasing demand for lithium-ion batteries, and nickel is a key component of these batteries. In an environment of growing battery demand, the demand for Class 1 nickel will grow proportionately.

This increase in demand will occur as the world’s large nickel deposits are steadily depleting, creating a supply gap for both types of nickel, but particularly for Class 1 nickel. Sid Rajeev, analyst at Fundamental Research, notes, “A lot of people don’t understand that only 50 per cent of the nickel supply is suitable for batteries.”

Tartisan owns a nickel sulfide-copper-cobalt property in Ontario, Canada. The Kenbridge property, near Kenora, has a measured and indicated resource of 7.139 million tonnes at 0.62 percent nickel and 0.33 percent copper. The company is looking to advance the project through feasibility.

The surging growth in demand for battery-grade nickel and the divergence between ferronickel and nickel sulfate prices will no doubt have an impact on reshaping the nickel mining industry toward nickel sulfide projects. Even the major global miners are seeing the opportunity. BHP Billiton Ltd., one of the world’s top nickel producers, is switching output at its Nickel West project in Australia from briquettes to sulfate in order to gain more exposure to the EV battery industry.

WRT strategic partners, I do agree that we need investors x 2 preferably, appointed to the board. The current board situation is excessively close and possibly resistant to outside influence.

That's an interesting thought, if he has, they should be put to shareholders. I suspect if any have been made they would be above current sp and many pi's would probably accept, given whats going on.
