The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Excuse my ignorance but can you explain why late reported trades imply something?
Thanks
Indeed same as others, I could have written that post.
Invested around the same time and I recall summer 2017, sat by a pool in France and seeing it hit 4p - life was good!
Again, sometimes i just think to take out what is left and be done with it, but then I have done that with others only to see them rocket soon afterwards so I just don't have it me to click sell all.
13 years later....

Now thinking of stop losses of 1% of that priceggiven 0.33p would see me back in the black having averaged down in the last year.
Sorry might sound very negative here, but my experience over the last 4 years has made me this way!
Just on the term "transformational" and what it means chat. DW has said it, he is in charge of the Company so of course he wants what is best for him and shareholders. But CEO/MD's will always say positive things about their firm and if they all told the truth (probably not the right word but I think you know what I mean) then no firm would ever be a failure.
My point is, just because he said it, doesn't mean it will actually happen and the SP may well just rise to a couple of multiples of the current price. DW considered many things over the last few years and some have not gone to plan, so we shouldn't get hung up on the word "transformational" and what it equates to.
I hope I'm wrong and over time all shareholders are sitting on gains but just needed to say that.
Yeah indeed listened to a podcast on her not long ago:

Not sure if it will load on the american site but any podcast app on your phone will have it.
...its rights under the Cambay Joint Operating Agreement.
Surely if they are being obstructive, Oilex should just go ahead and do this. Stop saying it and makes steps towards it!
I know, i know its not that simple just needed a minor rant! Everything is so weakly worded, Oilex should be in charge given the situation yet we are submitting proposals that can appease them,.
Yeah I agree with some of the frustration here.
I remember a few years back at 4p (my average was higher then) I was sitting by a pool in France sipping wine in the sun. Now, I don't like sitting by the pool in the sun, but seeing this price climb to 4p was amazing and it made the moment.
Now roll on and indeed my average is now half the price thanks to all the times we have dropped to 1p and below. I sit and hope that some actual substantial positive news comes and it re-rates but now i don't have that excitement any more over this share. Just want to get out at close to b/e, and if the FO suddenly collapses then I think I would just eat my losses, learn (a very long) lesson and walk away.
Not entirely sure what to make of this situation, if you can call it that. The positive me thinks from the last expected in June RNS it means the lack up update so far means they are on track and news will come in the next few days. The negative me is expecting the next one to be, well, negative. Either a collapse of deal RNS or a delay, and we all know that that will drop the share price. Surely if there was a delay past June an update would have been provided with an updated potential timeline?
It's just a case of the build up happening on various projects only for the killer RNS to land to dash hopes. So the longer this takes given the the last RNS, people will get fidgety as we have been here before.
Anyway I have all fingers crossed for this!
It's one of those things where PB on board , fact it's listed on the main Oz exchange and the rest of it that made this so believable. And still could be it's just that it feels like bad news after bad news.
Agreed nothing much has changed since the flow test in 2017 and the share price is now a quarter of that, but it's also the fear that now tjey won't be successful with the rest.
I just think many holders are just hoping for one more rise and then to pull out all or some of their holding. Me included.
Don't really see the issue, assuming the entire potential deposit isn't riding on one stock and the gamble is small proportion.
As with AIM and indeed the full exchange, it's a gamble and people have the aim to see growth in their investment. For some (including me) its mainly to create growth in long term savings which could be used for all sorts of reasons like unofficial pension, holidays, buying a car etc.
I had done that for years through funds and continue to do so. I had some cash which I decided to gamble to see if it would boost my money - which at the time my next big purchase was to buy a property.
To put my first line into figures, the total I have invested in AIM is 3.8% of my eventual deposit and would have taken me about 3 months to save as normal cash. In any case I didn't need to actually do those 3 months as had enough cash elsewhere.

I was similar just prior to summer 2016 when invested some funds I was in a position to lose but was hoping it would help provide a boost to my property deposit.
It didn't and I have invested more but managed to have an offer accepted in Q3 last year with the deposit made up of regular savings, although was in a position to move earlier in the year.
Now the main reason for being invested has gone I am just looking to cash out some when at breakeven, which is about a 75% rise away.
Clearly I can't read properly and missed the below post!
Anyway, I am a long term holder (small, just a few k) and have been lurking here and 88e for ages but only recently have started posting.
Wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend!
At this stage I am looking to hold until close to breakeven then will take a sizeable portion out and let the rest ride.
Of course its no guarantee it will get close to my breakeven (which was just about the price prior to the last RNS) but a decent FO related RNS should help.
In terms of individual shares this is by far the most I am invested in and has been a rollercoaster ride these last few years!
