Oh and to actually answer your question, I don't know how that fits in with VRFBs.

I don't understand the science but gather tin's essential for the soldering in electric vehicles so a very good thing to be invested in and fits in nicely with the renewables ethos.

There was a JM interview a while back where Justin Waite asked him about the hottest battery metals. Strangely he missed out the all important 'v' word but mentioned cobalt and tin as two of them. Apologies if I'm talking more about tin than vanadium.

Reading most of the comments on there, it must be nice to feel that superior having completely missed a 3000% share price increase over the last 24 months when all you're willing to otherwise discuss is FTSE stocks. And if it is a pump and dump as they all so unimaginatively insist, it's not a very good one - I've been here five years and still haven't got round to dumping.

Hardly Megabucks but that's 1131 more shares for me at 43.5p. Meanwhile the bid's moved from 42.6 to 42.87, 43.05 43.1 and now 43.2.

@jogj99 Very well done to you and well deserved. I was also a Solg holder, buying from around 3p and DID watch my shares become 45p, waiting for a takeover, and then watched them go down to 21p before selling. Well done me!! The consolation is that I bought more BMN at 23p with the money so it wasn't all that bad.

I also vowed to be a bit braver with BMN (nowhere near your league of bravery mind) and to buy as many as I could afford when the price was low. I mostly managed that.

I did a few dummy trades right at the death and had us flirting with 47p bid, then finishing at 46.9-47.375 before that UT.

Judging by the 'LOL' comment my guess is it was the PR moron's belligerent teenage daughter. What kind of professional organisation engages with that kind of dialogue?

It's a curious choice of expert that the DM chose to use, who recommended an American company specialising in recycling vanadium rather than a producing miner. I mean for goodness sake at least go for the easy option and suggest Largo!

No wonder, if you look at the Benchmark Mineral website, by their own admission they specialise in research about lithium and cobalt. In fact dig really deep and you'll find only only mention of the V word on the whole of their website, where they say '“If companies are thinking of creating the Gigafactory of vanadium flow batteries, they will either need to own a mine or implement a new pricing system where the fully recyclable vanadium in the battery is leased,” Moores added.'...so he recommends investing in a vanadium recycling company!

Now if only we could come up with a better suggestion...
