Argus Media's updated figures for yesterday also showing quite a rise:

If this isn't too foolish a question, what exactly is vanadium flake that Vanchem sells? I always assumed from Googling it that that was V2O5 but see that BMN measure it in MTV rather than lb? Obviously not the same thing then?
(Winces eyes, sits back and prepares himself to feel a bit silly)

I admit I usually take these articles with a pinch of salt but again, it all seems very familiar.
As has been said, this is a drawn out game of attrition designed to wear down us poor, simple PIs. It's the investing equivalent of root canal treatment...minus the anaesthetic.
I noticed this happening a fair bit yesterday too, at 16.8, 16.85, 16.9 and 17, usually with very limited buying availability. Plus a reverse spread earlier in the morning. Call me cynical but I always doubt any of it is accidental.
Thanks for sharing. This looks like the link to the article:
"Lee Wild, head of equity strategy at Interactive Investor, says demand for vanadium, used in storage systems for renewable energy, is likely to increase. He suggests fans of the metal buy into South African producer Bushveld Minerals."

Here's another article tucked away on Asianmetal today.
I can't actually access the article to read it. Now if only they could give us some sort of clue in the link...

I'm no trader or chartist, just a simple buy and hold kind of guy, but looking at the share price chart expanded to the five year view, if you compare the last three months' pattern to Q2 2018 they look remarkably similar to me.
(In the style of Sue Barker) "And now it's time to play the 'What happened next' game..."
Makes for rather interesting viewing.
Up by how much???

Superb times Gambit - well done. My 10k PB was also 42, however a 3hr marathon was always way out of my league - that's seriously impressive. Post Covid, sadly I've had to revise my running expectations.

Agreed, it's a joke market not suited to serious growth companies, aimed solely at the kind of people whose idea of long term investing can still be measured on an egg timer. It may as well be rebranded The Paddy Power AIM market.
And as if by magic some delayed trades appeared:

I remember watching all of this IFBF film when it was released last year but it doesn't hurt to remind ourselves of Adam Rouselle's words (about BE's MN) towards the end at 1:32:10
"...where is the vanadium coming from? I think the whole world is going to be depending on Mikhail much more than they're paying attention to today. I think his company is in the centre of this entire industry...and I can't make it any simpler than that."
...and the image of the ship on their homepage with the livery "Flow Battery Propulsion Zero Emission" on its side, and this text on the technology page: 'PortLiner, with partners, has developed a vessel design with flow battery technology, and a battery recharging infrastructure that meets operational requirements and is scalable, to serve multiple vessels.
In Q1 2021, PortLiner will launch its first "zero emission" vessel, a 135m container ship.'
Apologies, it clearly has been a heck of a long time. I might have got that completely wrong. Ignore my previous post. I might have meant record date. https://www.investopedia.com/articles/02/110802.asp
