Agreed Parob, and with the numbers you gave yesterday. I'm at the high end of the range you gave yesterday but not far off. If our guesstimates/assumptions are correct I'd say I'm around a day's worth of our seller behind you but I'll admit to a fair bit of retrospective second guessing to get to my initial figure.
Credit to Mark from Beverley who emailed beforehand too (that's not me by the way but I bet it's someone here) and very nicely done Daisydog.
Jeremy Vine now off air thinking "Vanadium? I'm sure I've heard that mentioned somewhere before..."
I wouldn't remotely claim to be an expert on these things by any stretch but by my reckoning the daily 250K sells started on July 15th and the 500Ks the day after so I've assumed they're the same entity (who knows?) and included both, plus the bigger round number sells - 400k, 600k etc but not any odd numbered ones however large.
If GS had 34.4m on Sept 11th, based on the above assumption I have them somewhere in the region of 16.6m sold so 18 million to go, give or take. I could be miles out of course.

Fortune talking about today's CLNs deal - "we're certainly hopeful that we'll see a re-rate of our share price"
On JSE listing, having mentioned about Vanchem needing to be finalised first and the H1s - "we are in a position to consider a JSE listing and will update the market in due course"

The disparity between the company's progress and how the selectively stupid market values us just gets more insulting by the day. IES, a company (who we all want to do well) that quite possibly wouldn't exist without BMN's intervention was valued at 75% of BMN's value today - how exactly?? Let's not even bother to go down those revenue and profits comparison figures again.
Gambit, logic hasn't ****ed off on holiday, it's not even quarantining - it's blinking well emigrated!
"...and finally, in (COMPLETELY FICTIONAL) business news and AIM listed Vanadium producer Bushveld Minerals was today awarded the entire of the first stage of the ESKOM energy contract worth an estimated x hundred million dollars. This follows on from this morning's announcement of a $250 million dollar a year vanadium offtake agreement with a Chinese consortium for the company's Mokopane resource.
The shares closed down on the day at 10.5p.
And now the weather..."
I feel the need to stress that I've never thought Fortune to be anything other than absolutely straight and honourable but that doesn't mean to say that other exerting forces beyond his control aren't so. I think we'd all just love to know the 'who' and the 'why'.
In other news, many congratulations Pdub - I truly hope that you and Mrs Dub are able to spend many more happy years together.
Don't worry, the share price will take care of itself. Right now that feels a bit like watching your child fall off a cross channel ferry and saying "Nah, he'll be alright - he's a good swimmer".
After nearly seven years I've still no intention of selling any time soon but I confess I'm worn down by the seemingly endless conspicuous trade manipulation, bottomless pit of shares magically available for sale, some of the disingenuous bull$hit posters that turn up here and complete absence of response from the company. I can only conclude that they know exactly who it is, why it's happening and what the intended end-game is but have to play the game and simply cannot comment.
This is just a wild guess but could it be the space that's been cleared to the north of the Vametco Drawing Office?

Many congratulations Pdub and GND - lovely news.
From their LinkedIn page:
The Company will seek to acquire renewable or clean energy companies and businesses in order to develop power generation projects in the global south – developing nations that tend to be dis-proportionally concentrated in the Southern Hemisphere.
'Southern hemisphere', 'developing nations'. That surely narrows it down to a two horse race between BMN and Largo...if LGO were actually a battery company of course.
I did a number of dummy trades on and off today and I remember we had a reverse spread at some point this afternoon of 12.6001-12.6. I don't remember the exact time though but 2:30 would be there or thereabouts. I wouldn't be surprised if the two 250Ks at 2:30 at 12.6001 are actually sells followed by a buy at 12.6 and maybe another sell at 12.55. As ever though, who knows?
Milkman, what a fantastic achievement and credit to you for being so instrumental in helping to raise such an amazing amount of money and helping to give Charlotte the hope of a life that someone her age should look forward to. When you look at the number of people who've donated you realise ninety odd percent probably won't even know her. It's heartening to know that there's still so much good in the world in what's been an God-awful year.
Now, a subject I feel pretty well qualified to comment on, running. As someone who's been running to a pretty decent standard every week for twenty odd years and run several marathons, my respectful thoughts. Numpty's spot on, running it simply can't and won't happen. There's a reason people train for four months and then still go through hell. It's hard, very hard. Without wishing to sound pompous, it's difficult to explain to someone who's never done it how you have to will your legs to take each step after 20 miles when all they want to do is just make it all go away.
I've never walked a marathon but would say that shouldn't be taken remotely lightly either. My thoughts: give it a go, expect to be out there for a lot longer than you imagine and forget the idea of beer stops. I'm not so sure they're not the party you think they'll be.
Good luck, well done but know your limits.
daitom, I've also long been suspicious of the trades that 'appear' to be a large PI selling and wanting £x000 after commission - £5006, £10012 etc etc. These have been going on for so long and the timing's often just far too convenient. We appear to have someone with a large number of shares, determined to sell at the worst possible price over as long a period as possible and wanting to pay as many separate broker commissions as they can. Yeah right.
