I expect amend and extend, but there needs to be drive from within tbe company and TLW need to charge Ghana interest on these late payments.

Why would a lender bother with D4E - there is no point.

"We expect two key catalysts to unlock upside over the coming months, which include refinancing the company’s 2026 bonds, and settling its outstanding tax disputes," Peel Hunt analyst Sam Wahab said in a note.

This implies that the payments are being with held due to the ongoing tax dispute - far from ethical.

Is that really a material increase.

If there wasn't going to be a increase in 2P reserves there would be little point in extending the licenses - just look at the current production and the amount of new wells needed.

During the second quarter, Kosmos and partners signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Ghana to extend the production licenses to 2040. The partnership anticipates submitting the documentation to the government shortly with formal approval expected later in the year. On completion, Kosmos expects a material uplift in 2P reserves in Ghana.
