TLW isn't that risky to lenders, it's risky for the longs.

TLW gave away those 7 Billion barrels in Jamaica, very generous of them.

Some on here could never handle reality and this has turned out to be very costly for them.

If the deal is effective from 1st Jan, then this should be allowed for in production guidance.....

This was discussed on here a few months ago, but as usual TLW comms are vague at best.

As yet the Gabon deal has not been completed so the production still belongs to TLW.

I became concerned about RD, when the terms of the Capricorn merger were announced - they were terrible for TLW holders but most on here thought it was a great deal. At this time the SP was in the mid 50Ps and it has never been back there since.

Dorothy played a big part in sorting out the previous mess and then RD came along and his previous track record wasn't great.

He talked of inflection points and 2025, being a transformational year but I couldn't see this myself hence my caution with sp in the high 30s.

Did he also give away the Guyanna asset...

The Kenyan government never made this project attractive and offered little help in TLW find a partner. This was discussed on this board, leading some to believe that they wanted to oust TLW and avoid paying back expenses once oil production begins - and effectively this is what has happened. TLW should have demanded a small amount of production from day 1. It will be interesting to see how quickly this project progresses now TLW are out of the near term picture.

The question is why did RD get it so wrong.

It is rinse and repeat, just like the last time TLW was restructured. The big boys make money at the expense of the longs.

There is not much to pull off. A deal will be done and like last time it will be the longs who pay the price.

This would be over £12 if it wasn't for another disappointing update.
