I know that Elderstreet VCT got rid of a load last year -or so but that did not impact the SP. I'm in that VCT

BUT unless the fundamentals change - and /or there is a monumental A/C error - unlikely unless some income has been prebooked - without the balance sheet correction this SP is just down to greedy MMs or poor NOMAD not putting the good stuff out.

We all have to be patient. We don't know what is in store - so bottom drawer!

80p divi is the secure outcome for now - but more is needed.
We have had this divi guarantee for a while now - but this share should be higher - and so should the rewards to LTHs.

Not sure she is jumping ship. She has not been at FCRM for very long. The words "to pursue other interests" suggests she was told to go - but she has to stay til the audit has been completed and A/cs signed off.
We will get to know in June - I hope - when we will learn more.

Sadly politicians control all or most of out lives.
We have to pay LA taxes - Council Tax and bus rates where appropriate.
These taxes largely represent the cost of the pensions the staff will receive. LAs may administer benefits to those who are eligible but they receive funding for this. Planning is a farce - building control unexplainable and diversity and other PC cultures etc .
Council tax covers democratic expenditure- elections, Councillors expenses and their salaries and the rules to make you pay for anything you want to do.
Labour LAs were the most profligate wasters of money but Tory lot wanted to show how to keet CT down.
Never any winners or losers - really - just a political game.
It is within the unitary and County Councils that the problem exists. Huge salaries demand huge C Tax subsidies
You can't have cheap fuel, cheap energy etc - market rules apply and those rules apply to sell by dates of MPs
Just stay in the EU and have the higher food prices.

The write down and write back to the P & L was a process after year end. As I have tried to explain before - the auditors are required to verify that the assets on the BS are carried at a fair value - should the customers u have acquired are not continuing from the businesses acquired a write down may be needed. Goodwill cannot stay on the balance sheet forever unless the underlying sales from the enterprises purchased continue to contribute to profit.
No trading update predicts the year end balance sheet. Get real!
Given the write back the coy had to reduce the dividend for the year !

The trading update was just that - the end of year accounting adjustment to goodwill was required as part of th e end of year accounts review as to the carrying value of the assets on the balance sheet.
Please do expect to be spoon-fed. U have to be satisfied as to the value of any investment - a trading update is not a reason to buy or sell.
The true position revealed that the estimated revenue was in line with expectations . The write back of goodwill resulted in the resultant loss.
Don't play games if you don't understand and don't make comments such as u have. False accusations!
