Good to see them putting some more content on the Twitter feed. A lot of it's just regurgitating the April RNS, but there's a new video on there this morning.

Also good to see this moving back in the right direction, albeit slowly.

They are correct, where is the imminent news on cashews that was mentioned more than a month ago?

What is going on with this stock? The market needs news Lincoln, and we need it tomorrow.

Just been looking again at the fundamentals here and see no reason for the significant SP drop, either this week or in fact over the past 18 months. Have mistakes been made and issues occured that warranted a drop in the SP? Yes. To this extent? No.

We've just come off the back of - give or take 3,000 tonnes of CPO - a near record Q1. Notwithstanding all the other stuff about now owning 100% of Ayenouan, 50% of the cashew business and all the rest of it, the SP is now at a 75% drop from the point where the factory hadn't even built!

The debt is being serviced, a dividend of sorts has been paid, then suspended but promised to restart at the earliest available opportunity. There is organic growth in the pipeline that requires patience, but it appears that retail investors are losing patience and just giving up and who can blame them?

We've been hammered down over time by issues outside the control of the board, not that they are entirely innocent but I'll come back to that.

Poor harvest in 2018.
Negative sentiment towards palm oil at present.
...and so on.

We could do with the supermarkets just getting on with it if they're going to eradicate palm oil from their products. The constant drip feeding of such news is not helping. It wouldn't be so bad if this actually affected DKL, it doesn't - yet no announcement saying so and why we're different (ethical, etc.).

In terms of the board, I feel much more could have been done to prevent this sliding. The director buying was too little, too late, an afterthought. A bugbear which I keep referring back to is lack of newsflow. They say they don't want to give competitors an advantage, but what about loyal shareholders? What about keeping us up-to-date?

I note we had a record February and March. We could have had a record April, yet the SP is falling and that news won't be released for another 2 months.

That's not to mention the constant dilution and rookie errors (basic mathematics in RNS's, etc.), together with promised announcements never materialising (Norpalm? and the imminent cashew news). Where is the promised April conference call?

Same here long term hold, there's very little point in bailing out with a 80%+ loss.

lambo222 / fundraiser 222 (you have raised my suspicions previously and after noting that you both comment on exactly the same stocks with the same language, I assume you are one and the same), maybe you are even TroublingTimes who also had similar traits? Whatever the reason, we have a lot of very good contributors to this thread who have been here a long time, dedicated holders of DKL who are not pumping/dumping and know what they're talking about. Yes, DKL has had a bad time over the last 18 months, but please don't talk nonsense.

Phil, I never got around to replying to your posts the other day. Very informative, I agree that we need some updates on the plantations as (again) we've heard very little on this recently. I don't remember anything of note in the puff pieces on this, but will make a note to ask during the next conference call whenever they get around to it.

Fk1, the last we heard re cashews apart from the Q1 RNS was in the puff piece and they said 'imminently'. As we know with the way the DKL diary works, that could be anytime between now and 2020.

Morning both, there is another supermarket palm oil story in the news again today, so suspect it's related to this.

However, the board have been told on numerous occasions now about news lulls and yet still persist with them. We're still more than 2 months away from any scheduled RNS's, yet they appear happy for the SP to just drift downwards.

Where is the (promised) shareholder conference call? Where is the 'imminent' news concerning cashews?

I do see this as a weak buy-in opportunity, but I am continuing to sit on my hands here at present.

Confident last year was an anomaly and confident for Q2 moving forward.

Selling 10% premium to world price - may be more of a struggle to maintain that moving forward could be more challenging due to local competition extending mill capacity. Better international pricing expected though so should compensate. A lot of upside in Q2 expected.

Quote - ‘optimistic we’re going to be a lot stronger than Q2 last year’. Talking about possible ‘record levels’ for H1.

Cantor have upgraded to Buy according to the FT. I can't find a target price though.

I agree with the sentiment here that this is a good set of results, if not spectactular. As Phil has said, if Feb/Mar can carry forward to April/May/June, then it's all good.

We also have the obligatory issuing of shares again in lieu. It's almost the only thing guaranteed with this stock.

Lincoln, if you're reading this, a concern for me was this sentence - "At that point, our quarterly production updates will cover not one, but two producing projects, reflecting the multi-commodity, multi-project agriculture company that DekelOil will have become."

Now, that should be a positive, but surely one of the main benefits of the two operations is the option of a more regular newsflow? (Something we have been lacking). We could therefore have updates every 6 weeks instead of the current 12. Palm Oil early Jan/Apr/Aug/Oct as now and Cashews 6 weeks later in Mid Feb/May/Sep/Nov? Then 6-8 weeks back to Palm Oil again. It's a point I'll be raising in the next conference call.

Afternoon both, I think the number of FFB's collected is more important at this stage than anything else. There has to be a material sign of a return to 'normality' and growth. Everything else will return off the back of that. Thank goodness we're diversifying into the cashew business as a second income stream.

This is possibly right up there as THE most important quarter in the history of the company.

I believe the record for a Q1 is that of 2017 - 72,083 tonnes, so we really need to be surpassing that figure or, at worst, getting somewhere very close to 70,000 tonnes of FFB's collected. That will be the first thing I'm looking at in the RNS.

No amount of window dressing or anything else really is going to cut it this time.

For the first time in a long time, we don't really have any idea as to how thing's are going (or maybe, it's not the first time!) thanks, in part, to a lack of window dressing/forward guidance in the Q4 data. This is good though, as it may be a sign that the BOD are going back to the previous modus operandi of under promising and over delivering as opposed to the opposite which we have seen of late.

Either way, I expect the regulation puff piece fairly soon along with the promised third regular conference call as, yet again, we've had months of no news despite promises to the contrary.

Someone expecting Q1’s in March and has dumped on lack of news? It wouldn’t be the first time.

CPO price heading back in the right direction.

blue2guit, I am in the same boat, but still see this as a weak buy.

The selling seems mainly centred around news stories concerning CPO, which don't materially affect us. The Q4 figures weren't to everyone's liking, but they were at least a step in the right direction, Q1 2019 being the key quarter. I'm now banking on this, together with the cashews coming on stream.

Having dropped circa 80%-90% from peaks, I see little point in cutting losses at this point as the damage has already been done. Good luck.

Hi rugs, no I'm in extremely deep here and won't be going anywhere whilst below 12p!

I'm clinging to the hope that the cashews will rescue the situation, alongside the floor having been reached regarding FFB harvests, but this has now become a very long term hold, and accumulating a few at a time to average down.

I'm surprised that the director buying hasn't been more effective, although it was only loose change and really needed a bigger bazooka.

I remember when FK1 said he would be buying back in at 17p. Good times.

We need some more director buying. ;)

dbentley, at least this time next year the cashews should have started production!

Drifting back down again now on lack of news flow. Not for the first time.

Investinvalue, our production for full year 2018 (after poor harvest) was 33,077 tonnes. 2017 was 38,736. All of the signs are pointing towards a better 2019, but no guarantees. Also, we now have a stake in cashew production starting end of 2019/start of 2020, currently being built.

I would suggest reading the last few RNS's to get a better idea of DKL and there are a lot of good puff piece videos featuring Lincoln Moore who is always good at answering shareholder questions. DYOR.

Deepjoy, yes it's certainly a rollercoaster of a ride with DKL but an enjoyable ride, all the same. Stay tuned to this thread as the posters are all very knowledgeable. Also, keep a look out for the puff pieces and audio calls, there aren't many companies as open with shareholders questions, etc. as DKL.

Thanks dj, that may well be the lesser-spotted (of late) ‘dumper dude’ coming out of the woodwork, selling into strength.

A change of sentiment here though is most welcome.
