Yeah right could be either, but my impression is we are 'there', when we get that news of course 'weeks' but we are going to make an OPL226 deal soon. I'm well long & optimistic so please understand I am talking my book which is also my take on the situation.

The grim reality is that the 'past' is in the price. Which is why we are at £3.3m with a major player like Kola in a JV & acknowledged Nigerian Govt licence extensions - which means the proposal is being taken highly seriously. By contrast BPC are at almost exactly 10 times COPL's mkt cap, having failed to get major to work on their concession for years on end, let alone have JV % details ( think what at best 15% of a pure exploratory situation).

The 10 year grim COPL history has crippled the COPL share price but IF that changes & suddenly what Arthur has been saying turns true - approvals, finance, SP, field expansion - this goes up to where it should be a mkt cap of circa £100m based on comparable companies at the same stage. I think we are weeks from that point.

Yep it would be really useful to link to the source then we can (maybe) judge its veracity.

Come on rampers out with some facts. Why is this over-ramped speculative counter worth nearly twice what it was 4 months ago?

Answer seems to be - because its been ramped!

Its the rampers who have driven this up who will be looking for an exit, this can't hold above 100p

Please dont reply to the manipulator here but on the BPC thread where he among other rampers has ramped that speculative counter up to a ridiculous 10x cash reserves.

You dont have to be a shorter to question why a share which was 1p only 4 months ago, then had yet another placing, is ramped up over 3.5p and is now sliding below 2p. But 2p is still twice the pre-ramped price...

The rampers still refuse to face up to BPC’s biggest overhanging issue - until they get a JV partner what is the company worth relative to cash reserves.?

At the moment its around 10x, is that right or should it be 2x or 5x? The difference is entirely a speculative bubble based on the ‘hope’ that in the 20 remaining months of the licence the company’s management can do what they have totally failed to achieve over the years - find a JV partner.

Why is that going to change?

People need to focus on the following heavily ramped shares. It is our right to point out their failing and our duty to fellow investors to warn them of the massive downside these over-ramped shares have.

BPC. This dog is trading at 10x cash, the worst CEO in the oil industry has consistently failed to secure a Farm Out. Key point to keep repeating 'there is NO Farm Out coming just a huge share slide'.

Yu. Another over ramped share that is massively over ramped - this could easily go from 100p to single figures.

Wood Group. The recent news failed to move the share price & there is a strong expectation of a dividend cut. Income investors will be fleeing soon.

PFC. Over ramped, problems in Iraq (with Iran-US tensions at a peak this could be in a war zone again). Regulatory problems & a crazy dividend heading for a big cut.

Please feel free to join me in warning investors on the huge downside in all these over ramped shares. Down they go....

It has been ruthlessly ramped up from 1p (already 5x over valued at that). The rampers have gone amok & when the infamous 'Farm Out' fails - yet again - this will go down to real value ie cash.

Zapsnap thats the reality of the previous placings - the only people who actually get in at the placing price are a few Shore Capital clients who subscribed. The market price adjusts down to typically halfway between market price & placing price - so buyers in secondary market dont get in at placing price. In these circumstances where rumours of a placing has driven the price down from 0.30 some 3 months ago, I would expect price to rally strongly upwards after a placing not downward (placing risk removed..). Like others I hope there is an alternative in position but the only person who 'knows' is Arthur.

For sure its not going to be above 100p for long whatever the rampers say & do.

The slide will continue when the rampers get bored. Then its 50p or lower on the road to the morgue.

Nothing holding it at this up to the current level. The so called 'good news' of the Terra Nova sale has been a damp squid, no more good news on the horizon. Also think what happens when the inevitable dividend cut appears, & its goodbye to the income investors?

There is NO Farm Out coming lets face facts. The company has spectacularly failed to produce attract a partner why should it do so in the next couple of months? It has been ramped up to a multiple of its actual value - possibly 10x.

A market cap of some £33m when it only has $4.74 of cash at the end of April (or £3.6m), It should be trading around cash value until the CEO & Board actually deliver. This is worth tops 0.20p, it is only the rampers who have put it at the present unjustifiable level.

This dog has let down investors for years.

Look at the facts not the lies from the rampers. A company with no revenues, a failed CEO, this dog is worth less than 10% of its current mkt cap. It is going nowhere.

Ramper lies - this dog is heading down. There is no more positive news due, game over. Down she goes....

You have always run away from any substantive points made against your repetitive de-ramping. You are only capable of low level repetitive outbursts never anything of worth or substance.

This is the last time I will engage with you on this board as I do not want to give you the 'oxygen of publicity',and suggest others do likewise. But on these grossly over-ramped, over-hyped and over-priced share boards (BPC, YU, EG & PFC) I have a lot to say & of course welcome worthwhile, meaningful discussion of a type you are incapable of providing.

But we are it seems agreed on one thing - it is absolutely vital to challenge rampers & draw attention to shares that have been ruthlessly ramped by repeatedly & persistently posting on those boards and draw attention to the rampers. Lets move the ramping discussions elsewhere - where it actually belongs, on the bubble stocks that are worth 10% or less of their current mkt cap.

And over-ramped, over-priced WG & PFC. Nothing forgotten dont worry.

Lets all join together & challenge the rampers on their boards not just ours. Spread the happiness & the free & fair discussion.

Its a bifurcated binary outcome clearly. Pompous & pretentious or what?

For whatever reason Bonum has decided the COPL board is the place he wishes to endlessly debate 'placings' and 'rampers'. Fine he is free to do so, just as we are free to debate those issues on the boards where he is ramping the shares and presumably wants the discussion to remain 'positive'. This discussion needs reproducing elsewhere particularly in grossly overpriced shares like BPC & Yu where the rampers have driven them up to crazy levels.

Excellent news we need constructive debate about the rampers & other rabble who have driven this share up way way above its real value.

The important thing is to constantly & repeatedly query the motives of the ramping rabble who have ruthlessly bid up this worthless shell to the present level and will surely let it plummet once they have made their dime.
