Yep; there are so many hidden agendas with every faction involved so there is no right or wrong. Just the bad side of human nature of intolerance hiding everyone’s ulterior motive. For WSG however, this can only be good news. SA will almost certainly be close to being on a war footing . Any security plans will be accelerated- this escalation will effect the region for some time - I know I sound a bit callous but our business is stuff like this. And I’d much rather prefer business with SA than Iran .

Contracts are only offers and acceptance. That’s where the legal debate lies- what constitutes both. My implied contract view appears to be conservative - as I just posted - as it’s now confirmed.

Indeed , the RNS went further than my implied contract.
By stating that WSG/ Scan have been appointed means that there has been an offer and acceptance of such an appointment- ergo a contract. The final terms are dependent upon the subject matter of the contract - location definition, rate etc which are in themselves dependent upon the outcome of MPS / GPHA negotiations as to the final format the 35yr concession will take. These nuances may seem minor but they aren’t. It’s double or triple your cash if you understand and spot it. You have a company with a stonking second multi- year MSC that is , as the RNS says a formality, and with no value attributable SP wise .
Did you see VRP yesterday? Doldrums and then suddenly peeps think, kin’ell, it’s got really great prospects. We we don’t have prospects- we have the contract. Yep, the “market” has got this totally wrong.
