Enjoy your weekend, we've all just witnessed what happened at close. Not bad for bulls lug of share. I know I'll be enjoying my bank holiday weekend, I'll be looking forward to next week as well. GLA
Hopefully the penny has dropped & people are realising why there's a fight going on for control of the company. At the end of the day does anyone seriously believe that anyone would be trying to hang on or takeover a basket case?
That's exactly what Ive done, I bought into these on my ISA account also. Just see it as a long-term buy in. Made a little profit over past week or 2 & decided I liked the look of this
This is how to sort out who has the balls to hold or not. I don't know if I'd call it having the balls or not but I'm quite enjoying the drama so I'll be sticking around for a bit
Mouse it's the only time I've went for credit & it's the only time I ever will. I suppose both me & my wife (I lost her too young she was) were from poor council housed parents. We were brought up right though. Getting debt was wrong you save & buy when you can afford it. I mentioned earlier both of were the 1st in our families to buy a house. Our parents were dead against us getting a mortgage. I'm a builder so I knew the property game inside out & showed how at the time house prices were rising faster than we could save. So they finally gave us their blessings. Everything we have has been worked for & we did it without any debts. I still won't buy a vehicle on finance. Its been imprinted into my DNA I think. Stood us in good stead though.
That's great to hear summers. I'm the 1st one in my family who has owned their own home. I'm from a council estate in the N/E of England even when things are good, there's no money up here. My wifes family was even poorer. Both sets of our parents had never drove or thought about even owning a car.
Best of luck everyone for tomorrow row even the ars**oles who want us to lose. You got to have sympathy with people who are so bitter they want strangers to lose their money. That's a sad position to be in. Hopefully the rest of us are talking about that Vegas trip for real.
I can't get credit anywhere I've never owned a credit card I own a debit card I went for credit to get my daughter some stuff she needed for university that she was adamant she was going to pay for & was refused as I'd never had any loans or debt. I've not tried for it since but I do get emails from experian every single day about getting my credit reference score up for me
I hope you don't have any debt when your my age either. When you get to my age you'll realise how much money you have doesn't give you any credibility whatsoever. None at all, I'm going to sign over the smaller house to my son next year when he's 25 give him a decent start not that he needs it but it's great to be able to do that for my oldest child. I wonder if that's credible or not, I'm not really bothered to be honest. I don't do stunts for credibility.
30 you are, sometimes I'm good 27yrs ago I bought my 1st shares a company called rodime designed a banking programme for online banking. A big banking company in the U.S stole it when online banking 1st started. Rodime had patented it so they were covered. We knew they were going to win the court case against the US bank. So jumped on it. All those years ago I put 2k on it. Obviously they won the case the next day I sold for 10k. The banking programme was bought by the new Internet bank Infobank. 3yrs not bad taking into account the time I put 2k into the share & got 10k out of it. Do you honestly believe my investments aren't credible enough to impress you? How did you get on finding anyone who hasn't got a single penny in debt by the way. Calm!! im laughing my tits off
You have no idea how calm I am something green might be helping as for new to trading I reckon just by the way your talking you & my 1st trade will have very little difference in age. As for penny's in trading does it make anyone better than anyone else because they trade more than someone else? I'll give you a little clue about my financial position. I don't have 1p debt to anyone. I own 2 houses & 2 vehicles bought & paid for. Not 1p in debt how mant do you know in that position?
Show the ones where I insult anyone or give tips for that matter. I might give an opinion but never a tip. I can't recall insulting people. I'm not the type going looking into people's history either in fact I've not done it once. Why would I im not that insecure about myself. I don't go to an audience trying for support or something whatever agenda you're feeling like having. Enjoy your night. Cringe worthy well that's great never been called that before thanks.
Who's angry, certainly not me just a little confused maybe. That could be my age or the herbal remedy I like to smoke. Takes a lot more than a few bitter people talking crap on a chat board.
