Jds15 you say "none of us has a clue" but IMO you have made a very good case for holding MKS i.e. the big investors are continuing to hold. This suggests that such investors are not about to sell so the risk to you and me is greatly reduced. Add to that we are expecting bumper profits to show up, a week today, then we could very well see £4++. As I have said before MKS is only a small part of my investment prog. so any risk element is of no real consequence. I remain of the opinion that by FYR in 2026 the share price will be around £5, possibly higher. I hope this gives food for thought, an area where M&S excels! JJ

As a MKS shareholder who has bought from M&S online and holds a M&S credit card I saw the RNS as reasoned, certainly no reason to panic. I accept that the incident has impacted the bottom line and for the moment is continuing to cost the business. However my view is that the cost to the business has been priced in to the share price by people with more knowledge than any of us posting on this bb. Those who sold MKS may see the current price as a good point to come back in, in a modest way. Some will believe the share could drop further but for me the upside is good. It would not surprise me if this gets to £4 in the next couple of months and that partly explains why I continue to hold. Sometimes you have to decide whether you are bullish or not, I am. JJ

I continue to believe MKS should be held as part of a diversified portfolio. Yes the current 'issue' represents a threat to M&S wellbeing but with the results only a fortnight away patience is key. The message coming out on results day could still see the share price up and not down. If profits beat the consensus, together with an improved dividend you could be very pleased you held onto MKS.
