Little video from TMK maybe might answer part of the question about why the drill will still go ahead for V1. Everything up to now still on track.It sounds very encouraging as they didt encounter any problems with Major Drillings performance.

If you call 2 years fast production which is I believe how long it'll take before any of the raptors if successful will be put into production. V1 licence runs out in June next year but if V1 is a hit it then gives PM enough time to sort the EL. LP for Heron is the most fundamental part of this operation and needs to be sorted soon. Just my opinion. As I see it no LP no rise. Come on MB give us what we have waited year's for and get this show on the road. GLA

There maybe a problem with delaying the drill for a couple of as the drilling company's services are required for further drilling for TMK's project following ours. I'm guessing also spud around the 12th if it's successful move straight to V2 then that gives the drilling team time to relocate when done with us and hopefully in that time LP arrives and the Heron workover can begin. GLA

And also SirBob if V1 is a successful outcome if I remember rightly it was said that it'll take near 2 years to start any production from the raptor trend but the procedure for the EL should be a lot quicker with all the process already laid out, so it really does show the importance of the LP. As excited as I am about the V1 drill everything revolves around this elusive bloody LP. Yes without it we continue to just be an wildcat explorer. Hopefully 🤞 MB will drop the mother of all RNS's on us and turn it around. GLA

With the spud date for V1 imminent and only being a 20% cos and no LP in sight "yet" so unless it is announced that the LP has been granted in the spud announcement or very soon after It looks like to me (and this is just my opinion) that the SP isn't going to have much of a rise until results are in that It appears to me that the run up from £0.03p or so to £0.35p being predicted that happened back in 2017 isn't going to happen this time. Why? Because unless the elusive LP turns up were just a wildcat explorer. Yes we have discovered oil twice but still can't exploit either doesn't change the fact that the previous RNS announcements havn't done the SP any favours so those looking to top slice or bail out if havn't already done so, I have a feeling there are going to be a few disappointed people not seeing that rise . The Blessing shows that the locals ARE on board. All looking very interesting now, my anticipation is building now 😀 really hope the drill site for V1 hits the sweet spot or at least oil show's and then onto V2. Just a matter of weeks after so long waiting I really hope it's a successful outcome. GLA

If that was to happen BP my question would be would we have to start the process from the beginning again with a new CEO at the helm? When I 1st bought into Matad it was the prospect of V1 which I'm still very excited about and the multi million barrels of oil potential but this LP debacle continues. What a hindrance it is being, so hopefully MB will still be around to bring this company to fruition. Frustrating as it is with one delay after another only time will tell.
