I read it as exploration as it says some of the previously explored area has been returned back to the government. There is so much happening that's it hard to decipher what it is exactly stating as nothing is mentioned about special permit or certification for anything of national importance so all one can do is wait for PM to announce anything of significance but I believe the issue will be put through by cabinet to buy pass the local government. I'm sure a lot of people are really not interested in other people's opinions, because they'll think frankly most of those opinions are either misinformed and adding to this endless ball of hot air we have had on this board for weeks now, in our society where everyone thinks their opinion is valuable and sacred and what counts doesn't seem to matter on here anymore. Vikinglass correct it is coal bed methane that's being drilled for. If I remember rightly they spud there 1st well early this month and said 30 days to complete, so if everything goes to plan then a rig should be available for us in June. Touch wood all goes well for them and us. GLA

I reckon we'll get an operational update detailing everything and also think that PM should keep us better informed on each step of the way just to keep the momentum going because I do believe this will go ballistic if the certificate is awarded as well as V1 spud date and all other news in the pipe line (pun unintended) so I hope its a hit but have to wait and see. Look I know this report is a few years old but it does show how long these kind of disputes can take, makes me wonder what sort of compensation they are asking of PM, at least I can be sure the MG will get there taxes from PM, I wonder if this report and the eco protests could be related? https://jaran.mn/i/2635
