Ebrard also appointed Soledad Guadalupe López Acosta as head of the Administration and Finance Unit. She has a degree in Law from UNAM and a Master's degree in Criminal Sciences with honors. She has a PhD in Law and a specialty in Human Rights from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, in Spain.

Another announcement was that of César Garcia Mondragón as head of the Legal Affairs Unit. He has a degree in Law from UNAM, an institution where he has been a professor. In 1998, he founded the law firm García-Rivera Asociados Abogados Fiscalistas from where he exercised private practice.

Another appointment was that of Andrea Genoveva Solano Rendón , as head of the Regulatory, Competitiveness and Competition Unit. She has a degree in Law from the Universidad Veracruzana, a Master's degree in Private Law from the Universidad Iberoamericana and is certified in PLD by the Universidad para la Paz ONU Costa Rica.

I would imagine they will be busy reviewing all the damage left behind by A_L.O.

I don't believe for one minute they have achieved extraction from clays that would produce an economical product, if that was so there's no way A_L.O would have parted without claiming credit:

A fair chance A_L.O's playbook was not to see an EV industry or renewables - pro fossil fuel and good to see so early she has distanced herself from that - she has a six year term and if she wants lithium production at scale in her term I would say zero chance without an industry player with the proven know how.

Good to see the news around Sonora lithium picking up as expected with A_L.O's departure - how will it play out?

I see BYD are awaiting the outcome of the US election before their final decision on the plant in Mexico, how many others are doing the same with Trump making some alarming comments on Mexican manufacturing and tariffs of 200% for imported goods to the US.

Yes, @ AKER, the lithium sector looks to be prepping for the ramp up in EV's and storage, SQM looking for partnerships to expands overseas (not mining companies)
