there are many experts who disagree with Morgan Stanley, China has plenty of concentrates but doesn't have the capacity to process in significant quantities, add to that that the market is demanding battery grade lithium and it's looking like that will be in tight supply.

BCN have no intention of selling to the US, has anyone wondered why is this so?

Plenty of room for another producer supplying the US from Sonora, after all, who needs to be planning 200 years plus production.

But still, there could be two companies independently producing from Sonora with BCN supplying Asia and another producer supplying the US.

So maybe KDNC were incentivised to reduce their holdings to help BCN negotiate their project funding and in return, an agreement to sell off some of the JV's

However, It may not be BCN in question (Alix / Infinite possible) with the Reuters article being so ambiguous.

I do hope the company can raise cash, we are on the brink of a disruption in energy and transport, we are currently running on 28% wind generated power, the new demands will need huge investments in storage and smart grids, don't underestimate the upcoming events pressing governments globally to invest in greener energy.
